The greeting-happy valentines' day
Is something you won't hear everyday,
But it produces the same feelings I have for you,
On a daily basis, you know it's true
---
I know it may take several years,
And even an ocean of lifetime tears,
But I know that it is for sure,
That our love will forever endure.
---
In relationships, perfection cannot be grasped,
And life's ugly reality is likely to rasp,
But what matters is our love here and now,
It'll make tomorrow less complex, somehow.
---
'Happy valentines' day' happens yearly,
But I prefer if everyday dearly,
So worries in life might seem so few,
For I'll spend it with my love - that's you.
---
Forgive me, for I can't help but to say
Thay life is not a bed of roses on which we can lay,
It's more of a disease that kills either rapidly or gradually
But your love for this cynical poet might come in handy.
---
And so this poem is nearing its end
Its body mixed in joy and dread.
Just as how life is meant to be set
But despite it all, I'm happy that we've met
