Famished

Let's make memories while there's still 'you and I'

I'll let you know I love you before I die,

So that when one of us will go away,

We'll feel less sadder for the one who will stay.

I regret not telling dad all of my love,

Now he's too far away in the skies above,

Everyday I crack inside wide open,

Can't survive without paper or ballpen.

Now do you see and understand

Why I am always sinking in quicksand?

Because my emotions are too much for me,

Yet our love is a treasured memory.

And now I'm back on the case,

My gloom is not a passing phase.

I hope you'll still love me like you promised.

All these thoughts are what make me famished.
