Rapid knocking came from my front door, and I hopped off the couch, already expecting who it was. I turned the doorknob and beckoned the girl in.
"I've got great news!" Alex exclaimed, seating herself on the couch.
"And what might it be?"
"First off, half of our concerts for the tour are sold out. Amazing, eh?" Her eyebrows were raised as she pulled her phone out of her bag.
"It is! It truly is!"
"And second off," she took a deep breath, "I've started a relationship with one of your best friends."
Up until that moment, I thought it was impossible to choke on air, "W-what?"
She nodded, "I'm dating Garroth! Well, we're actually going on our first date tonight, but..."
A knot was tied in my stomach, full of mixed emotions. Guilt, envy, jealousy? "T-that's great..."
"I wanted to ask you; could you help me get ready for the date?"
I nodded, quickly changing the subject, "I wrote a song for the shows. Wanna hear?" I tapped my tablet, the music starting. (Play video - All credit goes to Jordan Jae) I had recorded it last month, a couple of weeks after finishing writing it.

"I like the moral behind it. A lot of girls out there can relate to it," Alex said. However, little did she know, I was letting out all the pain Jeffory had caused me into one song.
"Thanks. So, shall we get to work on those songs since you're here?"
"Sure."
The next couple of hours were spent scheming over melodies and lyrics, until Alex had to leave and I was left in my thoughts.

yeah, okay. This chapter was sudden. I didn't want to jump to the plot line but then again, it would just be a bunch of chapters full of videos. I decided to pop a video in here and then leave it be with the twist.
Oh, and I'm not doing an April Fool's Day joke. I suck at pranks.
