We arrive at the restaurant.

"This is gonna make for a killer story." I tell Joe as the waiter takes us to the table.

"There you guys are! We were starting to get worried. Where were you?" Zoe asks us.

"Let us order and then we'll tell you." Joe says.

I order chicken salad because I don't think my stomach can handle a full meal.

While Joe tells everyone what happened I sip on my Sprite. He tells it like we almost died-which at the time it felt like it.

"I can't believe that happened." Tanya says.

"How was your claustrophobia??" Zoe asks.

"Dude that's sick." Marcus says.

They continue to chat about it and finally Joe and I's food arrives. Everyone else has just about finished so we try and quickly eat.

It's a beautiful scenic restaurant. We are on a rooftop but it feels secluded. And the sky is gorgeous.

It's about 9:00 when we finally decide to leave and everyone has had a few glasses to drink except me and Niomi. She's training for a marathon so she needs to stay hydrated and I have bad experience with alcohol. No one is black out drunk, they're more of a everything-is-silly-and-funny kind of drunk. I'm holding Joe and Tanya up while Niomi makes sure that Marcus and Alfie don't fall. Jim, Zoe and Caspar sing some song from the back of the group. I call 2 cabs and they're downstairs by the time we get there in the elevator.

I Buckle Zoe, Jim, Alfie, Tanya, Caspar, and Niomi into one car and I get into the other one with the two most drunk boys: Joe and Marcus.

The ride is long. The boys are singing and talking and their breath reeks of vodka and wine.

Finally we arrive and I quickly pay both drivers and usher everyone inside. It takes a while to get everyone into the elevators but when we do its not fun. First off, I feel like it's going to break again-even though it's an entirely different elevator. Second, it's so crammed in here I feel suffocated. And third, it smells so bad. The bitter stench of liquor drowns my nostrils.

The elevator dings and the doors open. I usher them to their rooms and unlock the doors for them because they keep fumbling with the key. Once I know that everyone is safe and sound in their rooms, I get Joe inside of ours.

"Give me the key so I can unlock it."

"No it's my key."

"Yeah I know, I just want to open the door because you keep fumbling with the key."

"No."

"Joe just give me the fucking key. I'm so tired of today."

"No, I want to unlock the door."

"Fine. Then hurry the fuck up. I'm so tired of your shit.

"Someone's in a pissy mood." He laughs at his own joke.

"Get away from me." I'm not in the mood to joke. I feel a migraine coming on and I'm annoyed at how they let things get out of hand. I hate alcohol. It's caused so many problems in my life already.

"Alright that's it." I take the key out of his numb hands and unlock the door.

"Heyyyy." He whines.

"Whatever just get in." I push him inside and shut the door behind me.

"ooooo pushy."

I change into pajamas and wash my face off. I take some Advil and then help Joe get into pajamas. I've had to deal with drunk people before so I know what to do. I undress him (not fully) and help him step into some pajama pants. Usually guys get too hot in pajama shirts because they'll sweat out all the alcohol.

"Alright, get into bed."

"Okay." He says giggling.

I turn off all the lights and get in next to him.

"Goodnight Joe."

"Goodnight." He says.

Finally, piece and quiet. I feel so at ease- oh wait never mind. Joe wraps his arms around my stomach.

"Joe please I'm tired."

"Okay then go to sleep, I just want to hold you."

"Alright well you're not going to feel good in the morning so you should probably go ahead and go to sleep."

"Okay." He says, kissing my head.

His arms never leave my side.
