James loved the idea of living forever, he told himself that if he truly loved someone enough, he could let them move on, he could let them die. But he could start all over again, make a new life, love new people, but always hold the memories.
Deep down, James knew that he could never live an immortal life, he could never let go of Lily, or Sirius, or Remus, or Peter, hell, he'd even miss Snape. James didn't want to live different lives until the world itself ended, he just wanted to live the one he was already living, with the same people by his side for all of eternity because he knew that if they were ever to fall, they would fall as one, one unit, one group, one entity.
