Trouble.

Chris and Ethan both texted me saying that they could come so I decided to grab some mattresses and bring them downstairs..

"Jake can you help me take down the mattresses" I said
"yeh sure" he said standing up and walking upstairs

Jakobs POV
while y/n and Jake were taking mattresses down I got a text from Maddy.. and the last time I talked to her she kissed me..

*text with maddy*

M - hey why are you avoiding me
J - I'm not
M - okay then we need to talk about that kiss
J - um I'd rather not
M - come over tonight please we need to talk
J - ugh I'll try

"who was that" Alex said
"oh this Maddy chick" I said
"oh.. what does she want" he asked
"to meet up but I don't know.." I said
"oh uh okay" he said

the door bell rung and Alex went to go get the door and it was Ethan and Chris.

"hey bro" Ethan said
"sup" Alex said
"hey" I said
"um.. what was the lunch thing about" Chris said
"shh um we were talking about y/n then she asked us what we were talking about then I said we were having lunch just us boys and Jake so shhhh just pretend you know about it and we actually are going okay at 11 tomorrow" Alex said
"who's we" Ethan said
"Jakob and I" Alex said
"oh okay" Ethan said
"dude Maddy asked me to go see her.." I said
"what about" Chris said
"the stupid kiss" I said
"I say don't go see her.." Ethan said
"that's what I thought but I want to know why she wants to see me" Jakob said
"go see her then we'll wait in the car for you and if anything happens just yell" Chris said
"that's a good idea I guess" I said
"yeh well tell y/n and Jake were going to get dessert or something" Alex said
"where is y/n and Jake anyways" Chris said
"oh upstairs getting the mattresses" Alex said
"Y/N, JAKE, WERE GOONG TO GO GET DESSERT OKAY BE BACK SOON" Alex yelled
"OKAY!!!" she said.

now we all walk out of the house and into Alex's car.

"so where's her house" Alex said
"um near the school" I said
"so you go out then turn right then straight then left." I said
"text her and tell her you're coming over" Chris said
"ok" I said

*text with maddy*

J - hey I'm coming over.
M - great see you soon xo

* end of text*

"okay it's the house with the gate" I said
"okay good luck man" Alex said

I rung the doorbell and Maddy opens the door

"hey" I said
"hey sit" she said
"what did you want to talk about" I said sitting down
"um the kiss and us.." she said sitting on my lap.. I don't push her off I just let her sit on my lap.. I don't know why
"there's nothing going on between us Maddy you like Ethan" I said
"not anymore" she said stoking my hair
"um can you get off me and stop touching my hair" I said pushing her off
"Jakob what I'm trying to say is.. I like you" she said
"um I got to go" I said walking out of the house..

once I got out I went to the car and we went to a place that had dessert and bought some dessert home.

"what happened" Ethan said
"she likes me" I said
"wow what happened to her liking Ethan" Chris said
"I don't know" I said looking out the window.
"okay se we just gonna get dessert and go home" Alex said
"yup" I said
"I feel like I should tell y/n" I said
"uh.. I don't know about that.." Ethan said
"I think you should.. don't keep secrets" Alex said pulling up to a dessert place
"I'll call her" I said while Ethan and Alex go buy the dessert

*calls you*
J - hey y/n
Y - hey what's up
J - um I need to tell you something
Y - go for it
J - we lied about buying dessert but we are getting dessert but Maddy asked me to come over and talk about the kiss and she told me she liked me and then I left but I just wanted to tell you..
Y - that's all
J - yeh..
Y - okay.. see you at home

*end call*

she said ending the call and Alex and Ethan came back in the car

"so what'd she say" Alex said
"she didn't really say anything" I said
"yeh she didn't really react" Chris said because my phone was on speaker
"oh that's weird." Ethan said

once we got home Jake opened the door.

"hey" he said
"hey where's y/n" I asked
"in her room" he said
"alright" I said walking up to her room

I knocked on her door and no answer.. I then called her name and didn't answer.. I think something was going on.. I went downstairs and told the boys to come upstairs to check on her.

"hey y/n is not opening her door I don't know why" I said
"I'll go talk to her" Alex said
"can I come" I said
"sure" he said smiling

we got to her room and Alex called her name she didn't answer she didn't say anything she just opened the door..

"hey can I talk to her alone for a while.. thanks buddy" I said
"sure thing" he said leaving the room..
"so what's up" I said to her
"nothing just super tired" she said
"you haven't even ate dessert" I said smiling at her
"can I just be left alone for a while" she said
"is it cause of the Maddy thing" I said
"no it's just you're constantly lying to me.. and I don't know if I can be friends with someone that lies.. you know me enough to know that I have trust issues Jakob.. you could have told me you were going to maddys house I wouldn't mind.. it wasn't like we were a thing or anything were bestfriends Jakob.. and you're acting like I'm a stranger.. and just before at Rob's place you didn't tell me what was wrong but I knew something was up.. I had a secret about my dad dead but you got that out of me too and I wasn't even ready to tell you yet.. and I just I don't know how I feel I just feel left out." she said crying
"I didn't tell you about Maddy because I thought you wouldn't let me go to her to see what she had to say and the thing at Rob's was nothing" I said
"it was nothing but you acted strange the whole night" she said
"you really want to know" I said standing up off the bed
"no. take you're time.." she said
"I don't get you first you want to know now you don't" I said
"I do want to know just not now because I'm not just going to get mad because you don't tell me what's wrong because it's you're life and you can tell me whenever I just don't know if I'm going to trust you as much.." she said
"mikaila is leaving" I said standing up and walking out the door and walking downstairs

"hey what's up" Ethan said
"nothing I'm going to go home see you for lunch tomorrow" I said walking out the house and walking back to my place..
I feel stupid.. mikaila was leaving because she feels like mum and dad don't care about her but she doesn't understand how much they love her..
