"I'm not ready do this thing."
"Neither am I."
"Well then let's do this thing."

I was in bed tossing and turning trying to get comfortable when I felt this pain. I tried waiting for it to go away, but it got worse.
I woke up Farkle who was sleeping next to me, "Farkle get up! Honey get up!"
Farkle rubbed his eyes until he could fully open his eyes, "What's wrong?"
"I'm having more contractions."
"How far apart are they?"
"Around twenty minutes."
"Okay let's wait until they get closer together."
"I can't get comfortable," I whined.
"Let's try to walk around for a while then. We can walk for a little while and then whenever they get closer together we can go to the hospital," Farkle suggested.
We both got out of bed and started walking around the hallways of our apartment building. Farkle had his arm around my shoulder and held my other hand. He helped me walk around, because at this point I couldn't move at all.
It was two in the morning so no one was awake in the building.
Whenever we felt things start to slow down we went back to our apartment.
"Do you want to go back to bed?"
I shook my head, "No. I'm not tired anymore."
He helped me sit down on the couch and asked, "Do you need anything?"
"Can you get me some water?"
Farkle got up and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. Before he could get it over to me someone someone knocked at the door. I gave Farkle a strange look before answered.
Who else is awake at two in the morning? Lucas and Maya were still on the road and wouldn't be back until a least tomorrow.
Farkle opened the door and both my parents stood in front of the door.
"Surprise!" My mom and dad said.
They both ran over to me and gave me a hug. I hugged them a tight as I could.
I asked, "What are you guys doing here? I thought Farkle and I were going to see you after Christmas."
"Farkle arranged the whole thing. He booked our flights and everything," My mom said.
I turned to Farkle and hugged him as tightly as I could, "You are the absolute best."
"I had a feeling that you were going to have the baby soon so I brought them out here," Farkle explained.
"How are you feeling Riley?" My dad asked.
"I'm having some contractions as we speak."
"How far apart are they?"
"I would say fifteen minutes to twenty minutes."
"Well let's go for a drive then."
"Why?"
"We need to speed up your labor. That's how your mom had you so quickly."
"Um I don't know if that's a good idea Mr. Matthews," Farkle said.
"Fine then let's just go for drive until something happens," My dad said.
We all agreed.
My dad got the keys for his rental car out. Farkle got the baby bag and we headed out the door.
"The next time we come back here you'll be here Kian," I said before shutting the door.
-
The baby will be coming very quickly.
Baby almost on board.
