"Always together in real life and always connected by their hearts."

I watched Lucas pack the rest of our suitcases into the car. Farkle and Riley were standing behind the car waiting to say goodbye to us.

Farkle started talking to Lucas about ways to avoid traffic while Riley hugged me. Riley was huge and looked like she was about to pop.

"If you go into labor I want you to call me and I promise I will find some way home. You are not allowed to have this baby without me there to support you," I said.

Riley smiled, "Maybe he will end up being late. Farkle was born two weeks late and I was born a week late."

"We should be back before Christmas."

"Well I hope Kian isn't born until after Christmas, because we are suppose to go back to New York later that week. I would rather have the baby in New York, because that is where my parent are staying."

Riley didn't know, but Farkle was bringing her parents out to California so she could have the baby here. Farkle's parents were coming out to California as well to help with Kian. My guess was he was going to surprise her with it sometime this week.

"Take care of Lucas while you guys are out there. I love him, but he might go a little crazy seeing his parents after so long," Riley said.

"Don't worry I am going to make sure that nothing bad happens to Lucas," I reassured her.

"Good. Take care of yourself too. Don't do anything stupid that you would regret."

"I won't."

We hugged on last time before Farkle came over and gave me a hug goodbye.

"You guys should probably hit the road so that you don't get stuck in traffic," Farkle said.

"In rush to get rid of us now are we?" I laughed.

"Good luck in Texas," Farkle added.

"Thanks," Lucas and I both said.

Riley and Farkle waved at us as we got into the car. They continued waving as pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road.

Lucas said, "Next stop Austin, Texas."

"Actually next stop will be at the motel we are staying at tonight," I replied.

"Same old Maya. Always wanting to be right about everything."

"I don't want to be right about everything, I just am right about everything."

He laughed.

-

Lucas and I both took turns keeping the conversation going as we drove. There was never a quiet moment unless he was using the bathroom or pumping gas.

He still made me laugh the same. He would say something I would have to catch my breath, because I was laughing so hard.

Lucas talked about everything with me and he didn't want to hold anything back. I talked about everything with him too.

It was like nothing had ever changed between us. I even had to stop myself from taking his hand and putting it in mine twice.

-

It started raining twenty minutes before we got to the motel. Lucas had me stay in the car until he could get our room key. Once he got the key he came running over to my door holding his jacket above our heads.

"Run!" He yelled and laughed.

We took off running towards our room and quickly got the key into the lock. Once we both got the room we slammed the door shut and collapsed against the door.

We both just looked at each.

His hair was completely flat and soaking wet. For some reason his green eyes were really sparking in the light.

He smiled down at and I felt my heart speed up.

"I should probably go get the bags so that we can change into something that isn't wet," He said.

I moved away from the door breaking the moment.

"Yeah sounds like a good idea."

He walked out the door and came back a few minutes later with our bags. He sat them all on the ground.

Lucas pulled some clothes out of his bag and then walked into the bathroom to change.

I pulled out sweatpants and a t shirt and changed as quickly as I could.

Once I was done I hopped into the bed on the right side of the room. When Lucas came out he got into the bed on the left side.

"Goodnight Maya."

"Goodnight Lucas."

I love them so much. Also next chapter might just get spilt up into two different point of views.
