They gasp at the sight of their daughter. I hate it too. The way Marinette looks so lost, so broken, and I'm scared she might die. A feel someone wrap their arms around me, and I turn to find Nino. "Adrien called me." He explained. "Thought you might need someone to comfort you." I nod, furiously blinking back tears. A loud noise alerts us. The machine measuring Marinette's heart beat has formed one straight line.
