Toni's POV

"baby?" Aaliyah said starting too tear up.

"baby its not what it looks like!" Janet said wiping her hand off.

"it's exactly what it looks like!"

"Its not!" i said getting scared and standing up.

"is that Toni? Long time no see hun. How are you!" she said trying to hug me.

I moved so she couldnt hug me.

"whats wrong love?"

"you know whats wrong! you know what happened that night!"

"what your talking about Toni?"

"you know damn well what im talking about! Dont try to act like nothing happened."

"Nothing happened sweetie."

"alright, stop that bull shit! you know what happened! you let them rape me! how could you! I thought that was becoming friends. maybe even best friends."

"why would i wanna be friends with you. you stole my baby from me. why wouldnt i wanna get back at your ass?"

I grew tired of this bitch.

i ran up too her and chocked her.

i didnt care if she couldnt breathe, i wanted her too die.

she ruin my life. she brought my happiness too an end.

and i wouldnt mind putting her life to an end.

"TONI STOP!" Janet yell getting out the bed trying to stop me.

i stopped and Aaliyah fell to the ground coughing.

she reached in her purse and pulled out a gun.

"Aaliyah put that down." Janet said calming with her hands up.

"Tell the bitch to leave, or both of you are gone!"

"what the hell is wrong with you?"

"you're mines. and if i cant have you, she damn sure cant have you!" Aaliyah said pointing at Janet.

i had the balls to run up too her too knock her and the gun down.

i was on top. i punched her straight in the nose, but she punched me in my mouth causing my mouth too bleed.

I spit on her face and went crazy. i just started punching her.

Janet pulled me off of her.

"Toni calm down!" Janet said hugging me.

i just started crying. i couldnt hold it in anymore.

"its ok baby. i got you." Janet said holding me.

thats when Aaliyah got up and picked up the gun and fired a shot.

Janet and I ducked and i ran and puched her out the open window.

by the way, we were on the fifth floor 😉.

the doctors and nurses came running in asking what happened.

"The lady who fell out the window had a gun and fired it. I ran and pushed her out the window. that's self defense." I said.

2 months later
Toni's POV

well, every sense that day, Janet and i been talking.

Actually we started back going back out.

yes, team toni and janet!

I told Monica what happened that day...

she wasnt mad about the Aaliyah part, but she was very pissed about what happened with me and Janet.

so she broke up with me.

But anyways, Janet and I moved into an apartment together.

college is going great. life is going great. im happy for my life now. for once in my life.

After class
Toni's POV

"Janet, the car needs gas."

"alright lets go get some gas. after that we can go get something too cook for tonight."

"alright cool."

i drove too the gas station and got out and pumped the gas.

i was singing an Anita Baker song while pumping the gas and a man looked at me.

"Hey. i couldnt help but not too listen. you have a beautiful voice. what's your name?" the man said sticking out his hand trying to shake my hand.

"Toni Braxton." i said smiling and shaking his hand back."and thanks."

"im a music producer. and i would love for you too stop at my studio one day. Here is my number, call me one day. i think you could become the next anita baker." the man said giving me his number.

"ok cool!" i sais taking the number.

i got back in the car and put the number in my phone so it could save in my phone.

"who was that man and why did he give you his number? answers now!"

"he is a music producer!" i said smiling."and he told me too call him one day so we can meet up at his studio."

"Toni, you can trust everybody. he could just be saying that."

"no, I don't think he is lying."

"well, I'll have to come with you."

"i guess babe."

she slapped my thy.

"Dont be sassy with me!"
