Toni POV

The bell rung to go to the next class period.

crap. why Ms. Rami wanna talk to me after class? im too confused to be talking to anyone.

I walked up to Ms. Rami's desk.

"wanted to meet me after class?" i said with my hands on my hips.

"yea. well i can tell your was pretty upset today. why was that?"

"nothing that you would care to know" i said putting my purse on my shoulder.

"i care."

"do you really? are or you being nosey?" I said getting aggravated.

"i really care. i hate to see my students like how you were."

"ok. i guess I'll tell you." i said pulling up
a chair.

"so, my parents are really big in religion. no lying, no stealing, no cursing, you know the usual strict religion parents. but something about us even talking about lesbians or gays you know homosexuality. they cant stand it. they say it can send you too hell. and it makes me scared. and i think i kinda have a crush on one of these girls in this class..."

"who is it"

"Janet. She is gorgeous. and i know she has a girlfriend, it it makes me jealous. she always make fun of me. like today, she  tongue kiss her girlfriend in front of me because she know im jealous well she knows it blows my mind. and she does it out of joy. so i was just a little upset about that. so i just put my head down. their happy?"

"well, im a lesbian. and nothing is wrong with liking girls too me. but its kinda hard for you because of your family. i know how it feels. i was in your same shoes, but if you like girls you do. you can try to not but you cant. my parents found out in the same grade as you in. 12th. they kicked me out, and i was on my own. but i got a job and went to collage. thats where i founded my wife. Jasmine Rami. we got married and moved in together. life gets better. you gotta follow your heart. imma always be here for you ok? you can always talk to me." she said standing up.

"now give me a hug. everything is gonna work out" she said hugging me as i hug back.

i got a pass to go to my next class and was walking to class but also thinking.

Ms. Rami doesn't look like the type to be a lesbian.

Still Toni's POV

i walked out of school and stood at car pool.

then i saw Janet walking up too me.

butterflies started to form in my tummy.

"hey preacher's kid"

"can you just call me Toni. My name."

"I guess Toni. so how was you not being yourself today?"

"just been thinking stupid things"

"i always think stupid stuff. its nor..."

Thats when i kissed Janet and she kissed back.

She started to go threw my shirt and thats when my mom and dad pulled up to pick me up...
