"Where's Lana?" He asked.

"I have no idea." I told him. "After she saw Courtney she disappeared."

He groaned. "She saw Courtney?" And I nodded. "And she's gone." I nodded again. "Fuck, I don't want her wandering around this place by herself." He snapped. "Fuck."

"Well I don't know where she is." I told him and I didn't, she just disappeared.

"Fuck, let me get changed." He muttered, turning away and heading into the bedroom.

I took the opportunity to step inside and I looked at the bed poor Lana had to sleep on. It was horrible, no wonder she looked like shit this morning. I stood there as Matt came out of the bedroom and headed into the bathroom, he wasn't in there long and he came out, ready to go.

"So you didn't ask her?" I asked him again in the elevator.

"No Marty." He told me. "Why would I ask Courtney to come?"

"Well." I mumbled as the doors opened. "According to Lana you broke up."

He groaned. "Fuck." He snapped and he stormed off to where everyone was sitting, looking a little shell shocked at Courtney's presence.

"Matty." Courtney cried, standing up to greet him. "I made it baby."

Was she fucking serious? One of these two were fucking with our heads and I hoped Matt meant it when he said he didn't ask Courtney.

Matt smiled at her  and then he leant over, whispering in my ear. "Marty find Lana and I'll talk to Courtney."

Well he better be telling to Courtney to fuck off, I thought as I walked over to Brian.

"We need to find Lana." I said to him quietly.

He stood up and took my hand, following me outside and as I turned around I noticed Zack and Rachel had followed us.

"Where would she go?" I asked. I was worried, we were in a foreign country and Lana didn't know her way around.

"The beach." Zack suggested and we all agreed, heading in that direction.

On the walk I filled them in on what Matt had told me, that he actually hadn't invited Courtney and it made me realise that Courtney really had mental issues, big issues.

"She's not here." Rachel said after we'd all looked around the beach and she wasn't.

"We can look in town." Brian said softly, sensing my distress.

"Oh god Brian." I cried as we walked. "This is Mexico, what if she's been kidnapped and murdered."

"Okay Marty." Brian said softly, pulling me close. "You're imagination is getting away from you."

I hoped it was, but as we looked around we couldn't find her anywhere and I was really starting to worry.

"Okay." Brian said and I realised he was starting to look worried too. "Let's head back to the hotel, regroup." And we all walked in silence, I couldn't help but worry about my best friend being murdered before my wedding.

As we walked back into the hotel complex Matt came rushing up to us.

"Did you find her?" He demanded and I shook my head. "Fuck." He snapped.

"Where's Courtney?" I wanted to know.

He shrugged. "I don't know, I tried to talk to her." He said, looking around. "Where is she?"

"Should we call the police?" I asked, looking between Brian and Matt.

"I don't know." Brian said. "Maybe we should eat first, I mean it's lunch, we eat then look again."

Both Matt and I looked at him. Was he serious?

"Eat?" I asked.

"Yes Marty eat." He said calmly. "We just need to sit down, you need to relax, I'm sure Lana is fine." And he was leading me over to a seat. "It's Lana, she'll be okay."

I sat down and glared at Matt, I couldn't help but hold him a little responsible, after all he was the one who was going to marry that fucking nutbag.

"Yep you're right." Matt said, looking at me. "You have something to eat, take a break, I'll run upstairs and get my wallet then I'll go look for her okay?"

"Seriously Matt, I don't think you're the person she wants to see right now?" I wiped my face, it was just so warm and I was sweating.

"Look Marty." He said softly. "I didn't ask Courtney here okay, I have no idea how she even knew we were coming here, but right now I need to find Lana, yeah we're fighting and yeah she probably doesn't want to see me, but I just want to know she's okay."

"Okay." I said softly. "Go, we'll catch up with you." I was starting to feel sick, nauseated and I wiped my face again.

Matt turned towards the elevators and I got up, following him. He pressed the button and waited, turning to me. "It will be okay Marty."

"Matt." I said softly. "Are you and Lana........well are you.....did you......" I couldn't find the right words.

"Marty, Lana is a stubborn bitch." And he smiled. "But no, we have not broken up, we're having a fight, that's it. Now." He said as the elevator arrived and the doors opened. "Let me go and find her so I can kick her ass."

I watched him get in and I had to admit, he looked worried, as worried as me.

God, I hoped she was okay.
