Cole was at my house ready for me. His eyes sparkled and his smile was breathtaking. I ran to his car and jumped in. I saw Molly linger at the door before heading back in. I looked at Cole and kissed him quickly and ran into the house to get Molly. She hugged me as to say thank you. I sat with Cole in the front and Molly in the back. She stared at Cole with her brown eyes. I finally looked at her as if to say stop but I couldn't.
"Hey Molly guess what?"
"Your dating Hunter?"
"No I would I?"
"Oh well Hunters telling everyone you guys are."
"Are you serious?"
"Dead"
"Molly I'm dating Cole."
Cole smiled a little. I could tell he was still hurt from the Hunter comment made by Molly.
"Well tell Hunter."
"I'm sorry Molly"
"Its-
"Not ok.... Rose why?" Cole cut in
"Cole-
"No don't even"
I felt the tears burn into my eyes. We got to school and I jumped out of the car. Cole ran after me trying to get me. Tears still burned into my eyes but the fell out. He grabbed me and pulled me close trying to hide my face from everyone. He crushed me against him like he did the night before.
"Cole I-I-
"Rose if your dating him its fine."
"No its not I love you." I choked out
"Rose-
"Cole you don't understand."
"I want to."
"Then you would believe me that i love you like crazy."
His arms pulled me closer to him, but then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and Hunter grabbed me away. His eye carving holes into Cole.
"Stay away from her Cole Turner."
"Such big talk from a little boy."
"Who you calling little boy."
"Who other than Hunter Loving"
Hunter turned to me and grabbed my hand and dragged me to his locker. I saw Molly and her eyes met mine as I mouthed 'Help me'. She turned away to talk to her friends leaving me to be dragged.
"Did he hurt you?"
"Wait.. What?"
"Did he hurt you?"
"Cole?"
"Sure whatever his name is."
"No he's my boyfriend"
His eye harden as he stopped breathing. His grip tightened around my wrist.
"Let go of me please.... Hunter your hurting me."
"Rose please." He cupped my face with his hands.
"Hunter just don't even... I don't like you."
Molly turned her head and a grin uncovered. She walked over.
"Well if it isn't the slut of the school." She laughed
"W-What?" I was stunned
"Oh you haven't heard?"
"I haven't"
"Molly stop!" His voice echoed through the hall
"Hunter she's dating Cole leave that poor old lady alone."
