I didn't think I had ever been happier in my life.

Alfie had asked me to be his girlfriend right before Valentine's and we had kissed. I had kissed my best friend, I had kissed my boyfriend.

It was now Valentine's and Alfie was coming to Bath, then I was going to drive us both to London. We were going to go to Hyde Park to have a winter picnic. It felt so nice to finally be with Alfie, and to finally show my love towards him. There were no more secrets between us.

I woke up quite early on Valentine's Day. Alfie was coming over at 9 am and I knew it would take ages to get ready so I got up at 6. I normally never got up this early, but this was an important day.

I had picked out my outfit before hand, knowing that if I hadn't I would have had to have woken up much earlier. After hours of deliberation the night before I had settled on the dress that I had worn to the Youtube part back in December. It was just a simple black dress with a white collar. I wanted to be simple.

I chose to wear my white chucks and have my hair down and curled. Now makeup was another thing. After putting my dress and tights on I sat down at my vanity pulling out all of the products I used on a regular basis. I didn't really know the look I was going for so I just started putting some makeup on.

I ended up settling on a natural smoky eye with a strong cat-eye black liner. I was so happy with the way it looked. I was putting the final touches on when the door bell rang. I was the only one home, Joe and my dad were both at work.

I stood up and in the process banged my knee on the vanity. Like I had done many times before. I swore under my breath, my eyes started to water. I had done this so many times before why did it have to happen right now?

I made my way slowly to the door, the doorbell having stared to repeatedly ring. I pulled open the door. Alfie was standing in the doorway with a single red rose in his hand. I was standing there gripping my knee like a moron. And this was the beginning of my first real date with my boyfriend.

"Hey Ms. Sugg!" Alfie said with a smile.

"Hi..." I whimpered.

"Are you okay?" he asked, rushing inside and setting down his rose.

"No," I said sitting down on the couch. "I banged my knee on my vanity coming to answer the door..." I trailed off. "It really hurts," I whimpered. I knew how stupid I probably sounded right now but I needed to tell someone.

"Awww Zo," Alf said placing his hand gently on my injured knee. He started to rub gently, it was a sweet gesture but it wasn't really helped the much. I smiled anyway. It had happened billions of times before, it always hurt so much at first but after a while it felt okay. "I hope it gets better," he said sweetly. Smiling up at me.

"Kisses make it better," I said smiling.

"Oh really?" Alfie said with a smirk. Leaning in and lightly brushing his lips to mine. He then pulled back giving me another larger smile.

"That's it?" I asked with a whine. He then leaned in and gave me another kiss, this time a proper one. I guess it was going to be a pretty good Valentine's Day.

____________

"AND BABY SAY YA YA YA, AND LET ME KISS YOU!"

Alfie and I were halfway to London, stuck in traffic, in the freezing cold car. Oh, and we were singing at the top of our lungs to One Direction. One of the best things to do whilst driving. I would maybe consider it the very best.

"I am totally out of breathe now," Alfie said with a laugh. I giggled at him.

"I am so excited for our picnic," I said smiling over at him.

"Pay attention to the road! I don't want to die before we get there," Alfie said loudly.

"Oh ya, that's something you have to do when you drive," I said still giggling. I was in such a good mood. Alfie really did make me happy. I was almost positive I loved him.

It scared me a litle bit to even think that. The last person that I had said I loved had left me without warning and left me so heartbroken. I didn't want the same thing to happen again. I knew Alfie would never do that to me, but it still scared me a little bit.

"Alfie, do you really love me?" I asked, still looking at the road, but wishing I was looking at him.

"Yes," he said loudly and confidently.

"I think, I think I love you too," I said softly.

___________

Alfie and I were in London, after two hours of driving, and singing of course. We were finally in London. Alfie had packed all of the food and the blanket and everything we needed for the picnic before we left. He was also carrying everything to the spot we were going to eat our food in Hyde Park.

I had offered to help him carry something, but he had refused. So he looked really mental carrying like three bags and a gigantic blanket around. I think he still looked pretty cute though. :)

We finally found a nice spot in Hyde Park underneath a tree. Alfie spread out of the blanket and I sat down. He started to take everything out of the bags and began to set everything up.

"I can help you," I said reaching into the bags.

"Nope, I'm doing this all for you. You just need to relax," he said with a smile. I sighed, he really was going out of his way to do all of this for me.

I reached my hand into my handbag and felt around at the bottom of the bag trying to feel for the present I had brought to give Alfie. Even though we had technically only been together for about a week it felt to me like we had been together ever since we met.

I finally felt the large box in my bag and I pulled it out setting it on the patterend blanket. "I got you something," I said with a smile.

"Well I got you something too," he said reaching into the only bag he had yet to unpack. He pulled out a very small box that looked as if it had jewelry inside. I was starting to get excited! I handed him my box and he handed me his small box.

"You open yours first," I said with a grin. He started to peel off the paper, then he slipped his finger under the tab and opened up the box.

"Oh Zo, you did not have to do this for me," he said looking back into the box.

"I wanted to," I said still grinning. He pulled out what was inside. I had gotten Alfie the vlogging camera he had wanted for ages. He always moaned and groaned to me about how expensive it was though. I had been saving up for a while to get it for him. Even if we hadn't been dating on Valentine's Day I still would have given it to him. "You'll want it for Playlist," I said grinning.

"Thank you so much Zo," he said and I could tell him meant it. He leaned in and gave me a soft kiss. "Now you open yours," he said motioning towards the small box in my hand.

I smiled as I pulled off the red bow and opened up the box. I gasped when I realised what was inside.

"Alfie, you really did not do this, did you?" I picked up the contents off my box and smiled widely. "You are officially the best boyfriend ever."

I was going to Paris.

I hope you guys like it so far!!! Thank you for reading. I love you all so much! ^_^ xxx
