What if
It had happened
The unimaginable 'yes'
The fairytale come true?
If everything they'd dreamed of
If those with-held truths
Had come into light?
What if
He'd said yes
And grabbed her in his arms
Kissed her for the world to see
To make it real
To never deny
The possibility of a dream come true?
What if
They had lived their lives
Both knowing
Of how much they cared
Of how much they had wanted
An 'us'?
What if
That eventful day
Their star-crossed paths
Had unfurled
To bring them together
To the awakening
Of a perfect forever?
If only.
