Remade

His fingertips
Are a moon light touch
On my skin
Tracing orbits
Around the centre of my being
I thrive
Under his warm, butterfly caress
And wonder if this
Is what surrender feels like
As we draw closer
And closer
Till there's nothing left
To keep his moon from my stars
The universe implodes
And it's everything we've dreamed of
Constellations awaken
In the back of my eyes I see
Supernovas
It quietens
To the silent hum of the world
As we return to the Earth
And he spins me
On an invisible axis
Binding us together
To a world
Within our galaxy
I wait for
Another star to cross our path
For us to be
remade.
