Manik was standing in between the gardens of the white lilies , wearing white see-through shirt which was untucked , sleeves folded till elbows , with white trousers , admiring the dusk.

"Manik." A girl called him with utmost love , and he turned around to see her but she was no where to be seen.

"where are you.?" he asked her softly with a smile.

Just then she appeared admist the fog advancing towards him with baby steps. Her eyes were enough to tell the whole world what he meant to her and how much she loves him.

Wearing a white anarkali suit , she stood in front of him , looking like an angel , having his favourite smile.

"Here I am ." she softly said , drowning in his eyes.

He decreased the one foot distance between them , sliding his hand on her waist , pulled her more closer.

She comfortably placed her one hand on his heart and one on his biceps.

Looking deep in her brown eyes , he said ; "I missed you.." and she could easily see the pain he has in his heart.

"I miss you too." she confessed with all her heart.

"Then why did you go..?" he asked her with pain.

She just smiled at his question, and moved out of his grip.

Holding his hand , she started to walk , but he didn't move from his place.

She nodded her head asking him to come , and he like an obedient kid , followed her.

She sat down under the shade of a big tree holding his hand , while he was still standing.

She gestured him to sit , and he gave a small smile to her and bend down but instead of siting beside her , he kept his head in her lap and she just smiled.

His eyes were closed , and he held her right hand in between his hands on his chest while she with the other hand was caressing his hair and smiling.

After moments of silence , she spoke up , "I saw you smiling yesterday , it's still the same. The most beautiful smile on this whole earth."

He smiled listening to her and opened his eyes. "But I smile everyday , how come you noticed it yesterday only?" he asked her.

She nodded her head in a no. "you never smiled before , you always tried to but never succeeded. Yesterday you smiled , smiled from your heart , smiled because of her." She explained him very softly like a mother explains to her child.

Just when she mentioned "her" , his smile vanished , he frowned and sat up. He was looking at her confusingly.

But she was smiling.

"I know you will never accept but , that's the truth , she is the reason you smile today, she is reason to want to live now, she is the reason you are happy now, she is the one , you are in love with. " She spoke softly looking straight onto his eyes.

He stood up and walked few steps ahead of her.

"No...No one can take your place." He turned around and said to her.
