Search of Truth

The next day Nandini reached office and while coming towards her desk , her eyes fell on Manik's desk which was empty. Not that he was late , but he was not supposed to be officially present for 15 days or till the final decision is been taken.

She felt bad recalling what happened yesterday and how worried Manik was because of all this. His tensed face , his angry yet worried eyes was coming in front of her.

Just when she was recalling all this while staring at his desk , Cabir from the other side noticed this. He stood there silently and after thinking for a while Nandini's chain of thoughts came to a pause and she noticed Cabir looking at her.

Both didn't say anything. Nandini looked down for a moment but the next moment , she spoke up , "don't worry Cabir , your friend will be back very soon."

Cabir took a deep sigh and nooded his head with a reply , "I hope so..!". With that he returned to his seat and Nandini too started off with her work.

At Manik's place :-

"Buddy tu tension mat le.. I am sure you will find a way out..!" Dhruv said to Manik who was dugged into his laptop sitting on bed in order to find out something and Dhruv lying on his stomach beside him.

"Kaise Dhurv ..? How..?? Since morning I am trying to figure out something but all in vain..!! I just don't know wht to do. !" Manik replied shutting the flap of his laptop and holding his head in his hands.

 "Buddy buddy.. Relax Haan.." Dhruv sat up and removed his hands from his head. "Tu itne tension mein to kuch nhi kr paayega , first of all stop getting stressed, Aur phir wo ladki ; Kya naam hai uska .?" Dhruv tried to recall her name .

"Nandini..!!" Manik replied .

"yes Nandini woh bhi iss matter mein involve hai na to don't worry she will defiantly help you out." Dhurv tried to calm him down.

"Arre buddy she's already so stressed out in her life and I don't wanna trouble her more." Manik replied leaning back on bed with the support of his hands , closing his eyes.

"Stressed out..?? But buddy Cabir said ki she hardly talks to anyone and you are saying she's stressed out..?? Do you know her that well Kya..??" Dhruv said frowning his head.

Manik suddenly opened his eyes and realised what he said.

"Nahi .. Wo actually .. Yaar buddy this is my problem , fine ki she took a stand for me and got me 15 days to prove myself but buddy I can't just sit and relax right..?? I need to sort my mess on my own..right..??"

Manik tried to convince him which he successfully did. Dhurv relaxed him and told him to take a break for which they both went to the balcony and stood there.

Evening time , after the office got over , in the parking lot :-

Nandini was standing in front of a car taking the support of the bonnet , folding her arms across her chest.

"Nandini ... Hi.." Danish , the owner of the car in front of which she was standing , greeted her in a confused look. Nandini did not responded to his greeting and started the conversation standing still in that position , facing him straight into his eyes.
