Chapter 7 – Perfection
Jessica’s POV
“Justin that was… Amazing” I said in delight. Justin smiled “it was okay I guess” replying back to me. “You know that was” me laughing at Justin.
Justin placed the guitar down, leaning it against my desk. Walking over to me he smiled and sat next to me. Justin telling me “Jess I’m so glad that I’m with you, every day we spoke online, I never thought this day would come”. I smiled at Justin “me and you together forever” I replied back. Justin looked deep into my sea blue eyes and replying “we are going to be together for a life time”.
Me and Justin talked for about fifteen minutes, about what we want in life, where we want to go and do. I was just going to tell Justin about a place my parents went, before they were married, when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
My heart started to beat uncontrollable and my palms start sweating. I whispered to Justin to get inside my closet. Justin ran inside, and I jumped under my bed covers, pretending I was asleep. The door swung open, Matt raising his voice “WHO WERE YOU TALKING TOO”? Me pretending like he had woke me up “No one” I replied. Praying that Matt wouldn’t start looking around my room. “DON’T LIE TO ME, I KNOW YOU WERE TALKING TO SOMEONE” Matt shouting at me. Before I could open my mouth to try and lie my way out of Matt hearing anything, Josh came walking into my “Matt she hasn’t been talking to anyone, I’ve been in my room all night and I haven’t heard anything” Josh tolled Matt. I stared at Josh in shock. Was he protecting me, or did he just not hearing me and Justin talking. Matt walked out of the room in disappointment. Disappointment beginning he didn’t get to argue with me, and tell me what I can and cannot do.
Josh smiled at me and walked out closing the door behind him. I tip toed over to my closet, to see Justin on his knees in the corner. I stood there laughing at him “You can come out now”. “Finally” Justin replied. “You have to go now, before Matt really does find you and kills you” I told Justin in a worried voice. “Okay but I’m coming back tomorrow” Justin replied in a cheeky voice.
Justin kissed me on the cheek “I had a really great day with you” whispering into my ear. “I did too” I replied as my cheeks went red. Justin opened my window climbing out and making his way down the side of my house. I watched Justin run into the dark night as I had a smile on my face.
