Chapter 5 – RUN!
It’s now one in the morning, and Justin has been in the shed for over four hours, “I hope he’s okay”. Matt was still down stairs, so I carefully opened my door and tip toed down my corridor. The floor boards making creaking noises with ever foot step I took. When I reached the top of the stairs, I leant forward and slowly stepped down each step until I could see Matt. Thankfully Matt’s asleep so I carried on going until reaching the bottom. I carefully and slowly opened the front door and ran straight towards the shed.
“Justin” I whispered, you still in there. “YES IM STILL HERE” whispering back to me while laughing. "Matt is asleep so you can come into the house now, but please be quiet". "If Matt hears you your dead", I told Justin.
Justin grabbed my hand and together we ran towards the house, laughing quietly to each other. As we got to the house, I put my finger on my lips and told Justin to be really quiet. We both crept upstairs successfully and entered my bedroom.
“Finally” Justin said. I know all the time talking to each other and now you’re in my room, we are finally together, I said with a smile on my face. Justin laughed and replied “No I meant being in a shed for four hours” I hit Justin on his arm as he laughed repeating “JOKE” “JOKE”. I lay on my bed, Justin followed, he put his arm around me and said “it’s me and you now babe, no one can stop us”. “I know it’s perfect”. But deep down I knew that someone could and would stop us, my stupid brother. I wish he would just go away, leave me alone instead of trying to control me like I’m a robot. But I didn’t tell Justin what I was thinking; I didn’t want to scare him away. Justin knew Matt was controlling, he always says that he’s just being a protective big brother. But this is different. I know I’m not crazy, I know he is trying to control me and not in a protective way.
