Chapter 22

After Casey had snapped out of her first true love kiss, she kept asking questions about Joe. And how you know…it was possible.

Even though I’d seen it with my own eyes, and had few questions answered by him… I still couldn’t believe it. It just doesn’t seem possible.

“Well I guess it does seem sort of possible” She mused “The way he looks just like your Angel. He sometimes sounds like he’s from a different time”

She linked her arm through mine and whispered in an unhappy tone “Why didn’t you tell me?” I looked to her, her eyes questioning our friendship.

I sighed deeply “Do you really think you would have believed me?” I asked, already knowing what she would say.

Nothing, she said nothing. No one would believe the truth of these words even if it was staring them right in the face. Even though I, the girl in love with this Angel in context, couldn’t fully understand what was going on. I really didn’t like the truth in this fact.

We continued to walk in silence, neither one of us wanting to break it. And neither of us wanted to tell the truth of how we know nothing about Joe.

We knew nothing about Joe, but there are ways to find out.

Casey seemed to have the same idea as me. She stopped and I stopped too. Looking at each other, we smiled.

“Library?” Casey said raising an eyebrow lifted at the question. Knowing her intentions I replied “Library.” With these words spoken, our pace picked up as we headed for answers.

Just you wait Jophiel I thought, my pace turning into a run I’m going to find the truth about you, one way or another.

Arriving at the library Casey and I asked the woman behind the desk if they have any old history information on Angels.

She looked at us, the look on her face told us she was checking to see if we were crazy, and told us which aisle to look in. Casey charged off as if she were on a mission while I thanked the receptionist.

I had to go charging after her.

Reaching the aisle we began digging. Casey was searching for anything or anyone to do with the name Jophiel while I was searching for anything or anyone with a last name called Livorarte.

We sat in silence for two or maybe even three hours, reading and reading.

Casey was able to find some information from the name Jophiel, but so far I have been unsuccessful with the name Livorarte.

“It says here that the Archangel Jophiel "Beauty of God" helps you think beautiful thoughts and manifest more beauty in your life.” I smiled at that, because I knew it was true.

“…Um... it says that Jophiel brings joy, laughter, light, and concentration as well as developing intuition, inner wisdom and insight.” Casey stared at the book with fire in her eyes; she obviously didn’t understand a word of it.

“Then there’s just some other stuff about a fresh approach to life bringing back enchantment and….” She looked at me, a cheeky grin printed on her face “and pleasure.”

It was so hard not to laugh; I only just managed to stifle a giggle. After being glared at by the receptionist Casey and I decided to look at old photo’s to see if anything fit at all.
