Truth Wins

 " why did you stop me I should have taught him good lesson right over here only. How dare he mess with me .... He tried to play with my career just for no good reason... And giving threats to you that too in front of me...why the hell did you stop me.?" He almost shouted on her. 

"Are you out of your mind Manik ..?? You just now out of one trouble and now you want to land up in another just right now.. if you both would have been spotted fighting you better know what action could have been taken against you both .. this is an office Manik... You both are professionals and not bloody street boys... the suspension letter which is in his hands right now would have been in your hand too... you want this to happen..??? Is this the reward I get for my work done..?? Is this Is why I proved you innocent so that the next moment you get suspended ....!!! Is this what I get..???? like seriously...????" She too shouted on him.

Manik looked at her and realised she was correct. She helped him to get out of the mess and he in return was again landing up into one. He tightly closed his eyes to calm himself down. "Sorry..!" 

He managed to utter in low tone. She just nodded her head in reply. " by the way how did you get to know about all this.... I mean Cabir told me that you are on leave and we were trying to reach you since yesterday and Aaj bhi Vaibhav was trying to reach you but Tum unavailable thi. Tumhe pata kaise chala ki Ye Sab.. I mean it happened before 15 days so , how did you came to know. And plus Ye footage ... How did you managed all this..??" Manik curiously asked her . "Aur tum itna panic kar rahi thi... You were almost unconscious just like that party day..?? What happened..?? And are you ok now..?" His questions took her in the morning when she was all clueless about the things happening in the office.

Flashback...

The way chosen by her to prove Manik innocent was not easy . There were still 2 days left to go 15 days and still she had nothing. After days of hard work , she finally got through her work. When she managed to get into the system of the security office and what she saw shocked her. 

She saw the footage of the conference room and with the people present there and seeing Manik's expression , it was not hard for her to guess what must be the topic of discussion. She without wasting any more time , searched for the footage of that particular day and copied in the CD. Within no time she drove to her office. Speed of her car Crossed 150 and her control over it at one point went all missing and she banged her car with the footpath. Although there were no injuries caused to her but the stress and sudden bang of her car caused a severe headache within minutes. She somehow managed to drive till the office and by the time she could reach the conference room she was all breathless and not having any further control over herself , she went unconscious and was about to fall when Manik grabbed her.

"Woh...actually..." She started stammering as she didn't wanted to let the thing come out. "Leave it na.. Why bother....? The thing is now the problem is sorted , which we wanted. So now , what , let's just forget it. " she said to him. Manik found it a bit strange. He had a confused look all over his face and was about to say something , when her phone rang. "I need to go...!!!" She instantly said and went towards her car. Manik was bit confused and found her behaviour strange but still he went back to his place.

"Nanhii .. Were are you ...? Been calling you from so long.. You were you not picking up..?" Abhi said to her over. "Bhai sorry wo I just.." She was explaining him but was cut in between by him "what happened,,? You not well..? You sounding low. Nanhii.. Tell me .. Did you again got the attack..?" He questioned her. 

Nandini wanted to lie to him to say all is fine but she knew him well ; and now being a doctor , it was just to impossible for her to lie to him regarding her health. So she told him the whole morning to the afternoon happenings ; including her car's collision. 

After listening to her , Abhi went all silent. "Bhai ..? Bhai you there..?" She said to him. "Nanhii.. I can't believe you can be soo irresponsible.. I understand the seriousness of situation but what if something big would have happened..? Why can't you just take care of yourself..? " he said to her in more of a anger tone filled with concern. 

"Bhai I know I am at fault.. Am really sorry bhai...!!" She pleaded him and he again gave his brotherly instructions to her of being safe and let go off the topic. 

Nandini then told him about the Manik's truth being proved and his clas with Danish. "Don't worry baby.. Danish and Harshad will not be able to touch you till I am alive.. Don't worry..!" He assured her to not worry about the threat that Danish gave.
