My Untitled Mess ~ Personal

I need a rant.

I hate intolerant and ignorant people. With a loathing disposition.

Today before swim practice a girl from a different school (three high schools have joint practice) comes up to me and engages me in conversation about registration. Yup. January now is the time to sign up for classes. Somehow we get on the subject about a school, let's call it Silver Pool or something like that, that helps out kids who:

1. Have been kicked out of every other school in the district.
2. Kids who are behind or missing multiple required classes
3. Kids who have done illegal/ bad things (gotten pregnant, drugs, fights, etc. etc.).

It's like a correctional facility for grades 10-12. My school system goes elementary 1-5, intermediate 6-7, middle 8-9, high 10-12. They are currently building a new school like Silver Pool for middle schoolers cause for as religious as Utah is there are still some messed up people here. Just over 20 of 100,000 people commit suicide and Utah is ranked 5th (as of 2015) in the US because of that.

(I am continuing now the morning after cause I literally fell asleep writing this)

So I mention Silver Pool during our conversation and she gives me a disgusted look. A 'ew omg no Silver Pool more like Slut Pool' kind of look. so I call her out for it and she gives me this look of contempt like 'I know whats right and you don't' and it just makes me so mad at her. Lets say I lost my cool and quite literally started yelling at her. I more than anyone should know better than her what kind of school it is. BOTH MY PARENTS WORK THERE. MY GRANDMOTHER RETIRED FROM IT LAST YEAR. I KNOW THESE THINGS THEY TALK ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME.

sorry i'm very passionate about these things.

So I'm writing this from a computer-- I usually write from my IPod -- in my P.E. class because I'm off of running for 4 weeks. Yeah, I found out just barely that I have inflamed and swollen tendons that cause pain whenever I run, jump, kick and sometimes walk. much pain, such ouch. I need to wear a correctional boot for a month but I'm going to wait on it because, I have a dancing try out for Cats the Musical for my high school today (went great by the way, I am now continuing from a few hours later), I have 2 weeks left of swim team (meaning finals & tapper), and I just don't want to wear it yet.

I should probably be listening to Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats cause I'm supposed to have it memorized before tomorrow. We're having callbacks tomorrow. I really want a lead. LET ME BE GRIZZABELLA!!!! I WILL BE THE BEST DAMN FRESHMAN LEAD ANYONE HAS EVER SEEN.

I have no idea where I was going with this now.

But I'm doing really well emotionally. No big drama or anything.

Though my dad did catch me dancing when I thought no one was watching. Oops. What can I say, you gotta eat like no one is watching. Or dance. Whatever.
