I watched Eric put on his gear and started to get upset thinking he was leaving us again and how this could be it. There was erratic knocking at the door causing me to swing it open very quickly to see Tobias super distressed, "She's gone" he whispered causing me to look at him confused "What?" "Tris, she's left for Erudite" I turned around and looked at Eric who was holding Orion comforting him making me smile and stare. I sighed when I made my decision as I walked up to Eric kissing him and Orion "I love you baby" I whispered to him causing him to frown as he looked at me "I love you too, what's wrong?" I shook my head as I looked at him "I need you to stay here" I said softly as he looked at me like I've grown an extra two heads "What?" he asked as if he hadn't heard me correctly "You're staying here" I looked at him as he started to protest I looked at him seriosuly "You protect our son damn it, stop questioning me and let me do this ok?" He looked at me and turned around and nodded "You better take care of her Four or so help me god, I'll kill you" Tobias nodded as I kissed him and Orion one more time and grabbed my gun as I headed out the door.

We made into Erudite where we were captured by their trap, I fought but gave up as they put us into a glass case together. I looked at Tobi as he scoped out the place "Any ideas?" I asked as he sighed "Unless they open the door, we're stuck here" I nodded and put my head down waiting for a moment to escape. It had been about an hour when Tobias started slamming against the door to try and break it yelling for Tris as they drug her by as she fought back, she looked on the brink of death. I felt bad for her but we were useless in here. Another hour had passed when two guards came by and said we can pay our final respects to the dead making Tobias panic. I watched as Peter pulled in a cart with a body making me freeze inside as I imagined Eric and Orion being on it as we walked into the room.

Peter looked down as he uncovered the body revealing Tris with blood coming out of her nose, mouth and ears "Jeanine wanted me to show you this" and he looked down, almost guilty looking. Tobias started heaving in disbelief as I choked out a sob at her body, this was inhumane. Peter stared at us as we looked at each other and I noticed Tobi look at Peter as if signaling to get him, I nodded and we turned to look at the little weasel. We both charged but the guards held us down as Peter ran to the far side of the room, panicking. We kept pushing forward though and both managed to grab onto him before we heard it, Tris gasping for air and leaning over the table. "Hey Jade, Four. Can you guys do that thing you do?" Peter asked motioning with his head as we looked at each other as the guards relax briefly. We reacted instantly right back as we head butted the guards as hard as we could making them let us go as I turned around to punch my guard and launch his head into the concrete wall. I watch as Four goes to Tris inspecting her as Peter looks at them and then to me "That's pretty good right? First I stole paralytic from infirmary then I shot her up when she was freaking out about you. I mean I told these guys I was pretty smart. I guess they should've listened" i chuckled as I looked at him checking my new gun "I guess so" "Thought you were dead?" I looked at him "I'm immortal" He looked at me like I lost it as I smirked watching the reunion.

Tris and Tobias were having a romantic moment making Peter uncomfortable as he spoke up "ohh....okay guys come on. Lets go, seriously.

You can do that later" I laughed "Yeah come on I have tons of making up to do with my husband" Peter looked at me "Eric? He's alive?" I nodded at him and he shut up momentarily as we made our way out the room. Tris told us to stop as Tobias pulled on her "The box! We have to get the box!" "Are you kidding me? Now is not the time for souvenir tris!" Peter said and I actually agreed with him for once "Four, you have to listen to me. It's not what Jeanine think it is, I know it's not. My mother would have destroyed it. We have to get it" I looked at Four and nodded as he looked at Peter

"Peter, is there another way to the lab?" he shrugged "I mean, I have to go to the control room to disable all the doors" Tobias nodded "Okay you do that!" "Okay, right now?" "Yeah" I looked at him before he could react " You just choose our side whether you meant to or not. If you want to survive, make sure we do ...Let's go!" I heard him whisper "Fuck!" making me smirk at Tobias. We walked on as Peter went to the control room and we got to around the corner from our destination when Tobi stopped and looked at us " No guns. It draws less attention" we nodded and conceal our weapons as he knocked out the two guards and we made our way in where Joan of Arc here decided she wanted to do the last sim. She was about 10 minutes into it when the door blast open and Max with his best guards came in, he froze as he looked at me but pointed a gun to Tris as Tobias and I fought the guards when we heard "STOP!" From Jeanine on the other side

The box started speaking

I looked at Four when I realized what this meant, we're free. No more secluding, no more fighting. I can have my family altogether. Tris walks towards the glass wall looking at Jeanine "You're wrong about us. We were never the problem. We're the solution" I snuck behind Max as Jeanine chuckled "Bury the box, kill them all" Max went to raise his gun as Tris froze and Tobias jumped in front of her screaming no don't but I shot first and cried out with Tobias looking at me in gratitude as I lowered my weapon with the faction less and remaining Dauntless stormed in capturing Jeanine. I felt arms around me as I looked into my husbands eyes he caressed my face as I cried in shock still "You had no choice Jade stay calm. We're free baby" I nodded and kissed him as Tobias came forward and nodded his head at Eric. "Where's Orion?" I asked as he smirked "Susie insisted she watched him at least once more while I stop fidgeting" I laughed as we kissed each other.

I walked up into the tower where Jeanine was held hostage. I heard the message over the intercoms and speakers all over the city and buildings. She was looking out the window as she spoke knowing I was there "It's been over 200 years, who knows what's out there" She said as I looked out the window to thousands fleeing for the gate. "You tried ruining my life for something you knew nothing about in reality. We killed innocent people Jeanine, just to make you feel superior and the life you wanted. Who cares what's out there, it's better than here" She nodded as she looked out the window "Eric would've been better with me" I raised my gun behind her "You'll never find out"

and my gun ended her life.

I walked down to the balcony where Eric was waiting with Orion in hand and Tris and Tobias kissing each other next to him. Our friends were all crowding around us as I kissed my husband again but it was different this time, we were free to be us.

"So what now?" Zeke asked as we looked at him

I smirked as I looked at him "We make our new lives"

Eric looked at me as I smirked at him kissing him again "I love the sound of that" 

and we started our forever after, free to do and live however we want....
