So eva had told me she dated joel , she said that he was a super obsessive boyfreind and that I should try to separate luz and joel. I mean I didn't want her getting into trouble , it does hurt me a bit seeing her be so happy with a boy that isn't me but I feel like I belong with my girl eva . I wasn't going to be another one of luz's little toys , I am her best freind that's it . So tomorrow is was going to head to the airport and go back to Italy with eva so I decided to take luz out and make her know i was her best freind.
Luz's p.o.v
I wore some casual clothes i mean I was going somewhere idk what jae he would care even though I looked horrible.i put on a big black t-shirt and some light blue pants and of course my favorite red and black Jordans . I heard a knock at the door of course xhavier got the door. I thought It was jae so I hurried up i run out of the restroom to see xhavier who had eva pushed against the wall making out ! Wtf xhavier ! I said he pulls away and says he just wants some fun with eva since Annes "boring " eva pulls out a pocket knife and puts it to my throat , if you say a single word to jae or Anne watch your back she put it back in her pocket just then jae walked in and asked what was going on but instead I walked out and asked him if we could go . We sat at the park played in the swings people thought we were crazy since we were already big kids . Then we went to the movies I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss xhavier and eva had .when we got back xhavier was with Anne and eva was also there . So where did you go ? Asked eva . We just went to the the park and to watch a movie i replied .

Anne got up and smacked me jae had anger in his eyes he scream at me for "lying " xhavier kicked me out .

it was raining i got a broken glass on the floor and i started to cut my wrists i couldn't take it anymore my life in middle school was a disaster i wasn't gonna do it all over again . I started feeling light headed, my legs started to feel weak the rain got harder and then I blacked out .

Joels p.o.v
I saw a girl in the rain she had a relish liquid driping from both her wrists i saw her face it was luz's i got closer before she fell i caught her in my arms i got her arm and saw cuts on her wrists and a piece of broken bloody glass . I called 911 and waited for an ambulance i woke luz up for a little bit she told he her freinds kicked her out jae, Anne, and xhavier she said she didn't want to live anymore i held her tight to my chest she fainted again . pretty soon an ambulance came i saw students pop there heads out to see and then the group that did this all to luz ran up to me xhavier pushed me and asked what I did to her i scram back that they had done that to her jae was getting ready to get into the ambulance and the lady asked him if he was family i ran up and said no that is would go i said i was her boyfreind .
At the hospital no one bothered to come i went on luz's phone and found Blake she had told me her brother was called Blake
He answered he phone and i told him luz was in the hospital he asked me if her freinds knew she was here i told him the truth luz had told me that they had kicked her out amd she wanted to die that's why she cut her wrists .
Blake- so what are you to luz ?
Me- well I've been wanting to ask her to be my girlfriend but we'll all that happened
Blake - i think she will say yes
Me- you think so ?
Blake - you are gonna be her hero , look your the only one here
Me- i guess I am
Blake- i know why she wanted to give up again
Me- what she has tried before?
Blake - yes she has her freinds turned there back on her , she was all alone in school no freinds and since it was a dorm academy she went into a severe depression
Me- i promise I'll make her happy no matter what
Just then a doctor came in he said we would be allowed to go in when luz woke up . Blake was angry af when her so called freinds busted through the door
Blake- well well well look who came
Jae - where is she? is she okay ?
Blake - leave i don't want you here
Xhavier - come on we gotta see her
Me - but you kicked her out so that gives us the right to kick you out
Anne- shut up we want to see her !
Doctor - the patient is awake only two people can go inside to see her
Blake - me and her boyfriend will go inside
Doctor okay please come with me so I can get your permission tags
Jae- you won't get away with this

I walked in with Blake she smiled when she saw me and Blake walk in i kissed her forehead making her blush a little . A smirk crossed Blake's face when he looked out the window a nurse was trying to stop jae and the little group , she told them something then walked in . Miss luz the group of kids outside wants to see you do you want them to come in ? Said the nurse ,luz looked at her bandaged wrists and looked out the window her hand clenched and said no

the nurse walked out and told them something , she walked back in and told her that they said they would stay outside until she let them in . She held my hand and looked at me , you promise me you won't walk away and stay with me ? I squeezed her hand and kissed its a promise believe me they arnt worth your blood . She smiled ,

um can I ask you something ? Sure she said

. Okay I'll be right back i walked out side her little group was still there waiting Blake handed me a bunch of ballon s and i walked in and i covered her eyes with a bandana a set the balloons spelling will you be my girlfriend?

I uncovered her eyes

her little group walked into the room

but all she did was smile look at me and say I will be your girlfriend.
