Wednesday
Aphmau's P.O.V.
Right now I'm ar home and I'm just packing my dance bag. It's the night of the dance performance and I am feeling very nervous. I have to get ready at home so I take a shower and I do my hair in a bun decorated with white and light blue flowers.
In the dance I'm a snow fairy so I put on white and blue eyeshadow, lipstick and white eyeliner. With the eyeliner I draw a little snowflake pattern on my face under my left eye. When I have finished getting ready I feed Celestia, grab my dance bag and I head to my car. I drive to the entertainment centre.
When I get there I enter through the backstage entry and I join the rest of the ice fairys. We are all waiting for the director to come in and assign us dressing rooms. We are all really nervous but we are trying to calm each other down.
The director comes in and he tells us which dressing room each group gets. The one that the ice fairys got is actully really nice. The boys and girls are separated of course. In the dressing room we get into our costumes and touch up out hair and make up. One of the girls has white hair paint so she sprays it in our hair to give it a snowy effect.
We put on white and silver glitter and white jazz shoes. When we are done the show has begun. We head backstage and wait for the director to call us to perform. The ice fairys are a small part at the beginning of the show so I don't need to do to much dancing but I still need to work really hard.
Backstage Travis comes up to me.
"You look beautiful" he says
"Thankyou, you don't look to bad yourself" I reply
"Nervous?" He asks me
"Yes, I'm so nervous, what if I mess up?" I say worriedly
"Aphamu, you won't mess up, I promise, you are amazing and I know you can do this" he says reassuringly
"Thankyou, I would hug you but I can't ruin my makeup and costume" I say
"It's fine, you can hug me after the performance" he says
"Alright" I smile
The call for the ice fairys is put out and we all get into position behind the closed curtain. When the curtains open I can't see the audience through all the lights. The music starts and us dancers begin. I don't feel nervous right now, I know what I'm doing and I know the steps.
I can't believe I'm actully doing this, I have performed and compleated in dance but I have never done a production like this. It's a proper show. While I'm dancing I don't mess up at all. I keep my toes pointed and my arms strong.
When our part is over I'm disappointed. I really wish I could do it all over again. Dancing like this gives you such an adrenaline rush. We walk off stage and I hug the other ice fairys. Our part is over so we don't need to worry about our costumes and make up being perfect.
We go to our dressing room and talk for a little while. I decide that I want to watch Travis dance so I head backstage just before he goes on. I wish him luck and he smiles at me. He goes on stage and he dances. He is really good, although he needs to work on his arms.
When he comes off stage I tell him that he was really good.
"Thankyou" he replies
We talk for a little while until everyone goes back onstage for the final bow. We all hold hands and I hold Travisis and one of the other dancers. We all how and there is a roar of applause. When the performance is over we head back to the dressing rooms and get ready to leave.
I remove my makeup and I let me hair fall out of the bun. I get dressed in some black leggings, a purple top and purple flats. When I'm done the other girls have gone and it's just me in the dressing room.
Someone knocks on the door.
"Come in" I say
It's Travis.
"Hey can I get that hug now?" He says smirking
I smile and I hug him
"You were amazing" he whisperes in my ear
"Thankyou, you where really good to" I reply blushing
He lets go and says that he needs to go. He hugs me quickly before he leaves and I sit back down on my chair. I'm just brushing my hair when someone else knocks on the door.
"Come in" I say once again
This time it's Laurence.
"Wow Laurence you actully cam?" I say shocked
"Of course I did... What guy wouldn't come to see his future girlfriends dance performance?" He mumbles the last part so I don't hear what he says
"What?" I ask
"Oh nothing" he says
He wraps his arm around me and pulls me towards him.
"You looked beautiful on stage" he says
"T-Thankyou" I say blushing
"Ahem" someone says from the door way
I pull back from the hug and I see Dante in the doorway.
He smiles and walk over to me, like Laurence isn't here. He hands me a bouquet of purple flowers.
"Umm Thankyou" I say
"Dante, Aphmau and I where having a moment" Laurence says
"Well I gave her flowers" Dante fires back
While they are arguing I grab my dance bag and flowers and I sneak out of the dressing room. When I get home it's late afternoon. I unpack my bag and I have a shower. I put on the same outfit I had before.
I take the purple flowers and put them in a vase on the kitchen table.
Someone knocks on my door and I answer it. When I open the door someone runs inside and quickly shuts the door. I immediately recognise them as Vylad. He has scratches on his face.
"Vylad?" I say confused
"Sorry I just-well you see and it was so yeah" he says stumbling on his words
"Come have some tea and I'll fix those scratches for you, you can tell me then" I say
We sit down at the kitchen table and I pass him a cup of hot tea.
Vylad's P.O.V.
Aphmau is tending to the wounds on me. Her hands are soft and she is really close to me. I am trying not to blush but it's really hard.
"Alright, now tell me, what's wrong?" She asks me
"Well you know how Garroth got a cat for his birthday" I tell her
"Yeah, I helped pick it ou-Oh it doesn't like you" she says akwardly
"Yeah, it scratched me" I say
"No kidding' she says giggling
When she is done she moves away from me and I feel sad that she isn't close to me anymore. She washes her hands and then she sits down at the kitchen table. I ask her about the dance performance and she says that it went well.
I notice purple flowers in a vase and I ask where they came from.
"Oh someone gave them to me" she says blushing
I feel a sting of jealousy in my heart but I push it aside. We sit there and talk for a while. I tell her a little bit about O'Khasis and she is really interested. She tells me that she can't wait.
