This is it. Today is the day Seokjin would let his mother meet his lover. His father had passed away when Seokjin was young, and his mother never found anyone she loved as much as him. She was fine with her son being gay; she was just very picky concerning the actual men. So far, not one met to her standards. But not one had meant so much to Jin as his current interest, Namjoon.
Namjoon was sweating buckets. Meeting past girlfriend's parents always ended in judgmental accusations because of his looks. Seokjin was the most important, he just had to remember that. No matter if the mother hates him, if she is a total bitch, he loved Jin and would stick it through for him. That doesn't mean he didn't spend 2 hours looking at his appearance. Namjoon had seriously considered dying his hair back to a natural brown, but Seokjin wouldn't allow that.
Seokjin laughed as his lover knocked on the door with a shaking hand. The brunette opened the door himself and walked in. Namjoon, even as nervous as he was, couldn't help but notice how adorable the older was as he yelled his mother's name.
His sweet thoughts quickly ended as the stairs started creaking. A petite woman poked her head into view, and Namjoon suddenly wondered if Jin forgot to mention a sister.
"My baby!" The woman ran into Seokjin's arms. The man laughed and released her.
"Nice to see you too, Mom."
Namjoon's jaw dropped an inch. The lady didn't look over 30.
"Oh, you flatter me! But, you know, that idol, CL, is almost 30 and looks 18, so age doesn't match appearance," Namjoon blushed when he realized he spoke aloud.
The blonde cleared his throat, "I-it's nice to m-meet you," he awkwardly laughed at the stutter.
The mother laughed and, sarcastically, whispered to Jin, "nice catch."
As she strutted over to the kitchen, Seokjin gave his man an apologetic look.
"Well, let's hurry to our reservation!"

The trio sat down at a circular table and listened to the waiter list the specials. Jin's mother watched as her son explained that the weird French word was the meal he cooked last month. She clicked her tongue,
"So, Namjoon, you don't take my son to many extravagant places like this very often, hmm?"
Namjoon looked dumbfounded.
"Mother-"
She cut Seokjin off, "My son deserves the best, you know? You don't seem like the type to notice value such as his. I bet you've never treated girls like that."
"Mother-"
"Actually I bet you throw even girls out once you give them a nice fuck."
"Mother! How dare y-"
"No Jin," he gave him a meaningful gaze, "it's alright. I didn't throw women out, but I probably didn't treat them as I should've," he paused, "but I've never met anyone like your son. I've never felt this overwhelming urge to protect something. It baffles me sometimes because I lose all sense of rationality and I forget about myself. Just now, nothing you said bothered me, besides the fact that you interrupted him. He didn't deserve that," Namjoon looked at his lover, who seemed just as shocked as his mother, "he deserves so many things, and I'm not one of them. I wish I could give him what he deserves, we would be eating at these places every night! Still, I'm too selfish to let him out of my grasp."
When silence followed, Namjoon became a little panicky.
"Y-you know what I mean, right? This feeling? Jin tells me about you and your husband, he seemed like the kind of man to-"
"Yes," she wiped a fallen tear and looks at Seokjin, "Your father was a wonderful, kind man. When we weren't doing well financially, he told me to find a rich man that could take care of me. Of course I didn't; I stuck through the hard times." She grabs each of the boys' hands, "This is the one, baby, the one I bless."

Seokjin gives Namjoon a sideways glance. His lover is gripping the steering wheel.
"Baby, are you o-"
He stops as Namjoon pulls the car over. He calmly stands out of the car and walks to a streetlight. Jin rushedly goes to Namjoon. The blonde looks up,
"Think anyone is up at this hour?'
Seokjin shakes his head no.
Namjoon nods, thinks and proceeds to scream at the air and jump happily.
The older starts bursting out laughing. Namjoon smiles and grabs his lover's face. He leans down and kisses Jins plump, soft lips. They hold it for awhile and both are disappointed when it ends.
"I love you, baby," he looks deep into Seokjins eyes.
"Yeah, I know," he giggles but stop when Namjoon keeps staring, "I love you, my warrior."

"Shit, Shit, shit," Namjoon rushes out of his car into the home of his Monster-in-law. He kicks off his shoes and runs into the living area where a petite, little Vietnamese girl with long, flowy, black hair sat. She was playing with the new Barbie her Aunt bought her.
"Princess, Daddy's here. Get your stuff and say bye to Halmoni."
The girl giggles and runs into the kitchen.
"Baby! We need to g- well hello," he was surprised to see his handsome lover get dragged by the child.
Jin smiled lovingly and gave Namjoon a quick kiss.
"Well, well, late again I see. How do my beautiful babies handle you?" Namjoons smile washed away as he heard the familiar nagging voice.
"Ha ha," the blonde replied sarcastically, "just remember you were the one that approved of me."
She waved him off and went back to cooking.
"I love my family," Jin picked up his daughter and kissed her cheek, "my daughter," she giggled, "my warrior," Namjoon gave him a smooch on the cheek.
"And your amazing mother!" Namjoon rolled his eyes at the woman's remark.
"Yeah, yeah, perfect life, you only deserve that."
