Emily’s POV;

A few weeks had passed since I moved to London to live with my grandparents. My parents died in a car accident about 2 months ago and they were my guardians so I had to move here. In the beginning I wasn’t to happy about it, I didn’t want to leave my friends and start over somewhere else, but over the weeks the place started to grow on me. There was this amazing park just outside my grandparents house and I could walk my dog there. I was so happy my grandparents let me keep her, she’s only 1year old and I couldn’t bare to loose her too when I lost my parents, she meant everything to me. My grandparents even let her sleep in my room and everything and I couldn’t be happier, I’d always wanted that but my parents wouldn’t let me. Here, she really was my dog and I loved her, she got me through a lot of dark times by just being there. I never realized a dog could mean so much in a persons live. Today was no different then other days, I woke up with Dunya at my feet already looking at me. I got up, put on some sweats, went downstairs to feed her and in the mean time made a sandwich for myself. I grabbed my coat once she was finished and went outside towards the park. Dunya never was on a leash, she just always walked besides me and in the park she could run around all she wanted. She listened very well and was the easiest dog ever. We walked the same round as always and we met the same people as always. The funny thing about parks is that you always meet the same people with their dogs around the same times and the dogs would play with eachother and their bosses would talk. I really liked that about the park, back home we didn’t have one so you just walked around alone and the dog didn’t have much others to play with. Dunya’s happiness was very important to me so this was one of the reasons I started to like it here.
