Chris
Today we was going to my mom house for Sunday dinner. Kyla was really bugging me for some dill pickle chips and ranch dip. I had to stop by the store and get that for her first. So she could shut the hell up.
"Chris?"
There she go calling my name again. I haven't even crank up the car to leave the store yet.
"Hmmm?"
"I love you." She said with a smile.
That made me smile, because I honestly thought she was going to bug me again.
"I love you too bae." I said back.
To say we only been together for a short amount of time I was really feeling her man. I love this girl.
When we got to my parents house Ky had done fall asleep that fast. She was a fast sleeper anyway.
"Bae we here." I shook her awake.
She looked at me crazy.
Then she realized where we was and she relax.
We got out the car and made our way in the house. My mom was at the kitchen stove.
"Hey mama." I yelled.
She turned around and smiled.
"Hey Chris you coming to get the rest of your shit?" She asked me.
I stale face her . Like really though mama?
Kyla was just laughing her ass off.
"Ahhh Kyla you glowing baby. Let me find out my son done knock you up."
What? Kyla pregnant? I looked at her. She looked pale in the face. Did she knew?
"Huh? What you talking about Mrs. Hanes?" Kyla asked nervously.
"You pregnant girl. Can't deny that glow. Omg . I'm going to be a grandma." She said tears filling her eyes.
Hell no.
"Mom slow down. Kyla not pregnant. " I said.
"Why the hell she not?" My mom said.
"Because I use protection all the time."
Well at least I think I do.
"Can we eat I'm hungry." Kyla said.
Totally dismissing the subject. I don't blame her at all.
We went into the kitchen and sat down. My mother place the food on the table.
My dad came down the stairs. Smiled when he saw me and Kyla.
"Awww Kyla and Chris in the house. When y'all leaving tho?" He said.
Damn we just got here.
"Dad we just got here." I said.
"I'm just joking. Calm down." He said taking a seat.
My mom said grace and we all dig in. I saw Kyla pack her plate with everything my mother had cook.
"We need to talk." I whispered in her ear.
She nodded her and continue to eat her food.

I already knew what Chris wanted to talk about. I don't know if I'm pregnant or not though. I mean my period is just a few days late. It could still come on. I'm not sweating it.
What I am going to do is enjoy this good food. I'm getting seconds too. I was almost done with my first plate too.
Everybody was eyeing me on the slick side.
I wasn't uncomfortable. I was just hungry.
After I was finish with my first plate I got seconds.
"You must be been hungry Kyla." Mr. Hanes said to me with a smirk.
"Yes sir I was." I said taking a sip of my iced tea.
After I was done with my second plate. I was looking for dessert.
I look around I was the only one at the table. When did they left me?
I wash my dishs and made my way in the living room where every one was.
"You finally done?" Chris asked me.
I smiled and nodded my head yes.
I went and sat my Chris. We watched Halloween.
I woke up to someone shaking me. This was the second damn time somebody woke me up out of a good ass sleep.
I looked and it was Chris yet again.
I mugged him.
"Come help me back my stuff so we can talk." He said then walk away from me up the stairs to his room.
When I got up the stairs Chris was laying across the bed.
"So you pregnant huh?" Chris asked me.
"I don't know to be honest." I said back.
"Do you want to be pregnant?" He asked me looking at me.
"I mean if I am . I'm not getting rid of it if that what you thinking."
He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Why would I tell you to get rid of my child?"
I shrugged my shoulder and sat next to him on the bed.
"We will figure it out when we cross that bridge." I said.
"You right." He kissed me. "Let's go pack my clothes so we can go home."
