Hello Kate, how was the meetup with Luke? Hope you two will pull it off -Dad

Seriously?! The waitress thought I never shower... thanks a lot Kate that wasn't necessary, she was hot -Luke

I sent back:
Lily, it was Luke Adams -Kate

No Jake -Kate

Daniel come to my apartment... I'm back -Kate

Yes mom -Kate

Seriously dad, I haven't seen you at all since you came to London, you haven't made any effort but you tell mom to tell me that I have to marry a random guy? Sure I'll be a perfect daughter and do it but do not expect to hear from me after I have my fake wedding -Kate

Shame, you have to be stuck with me... no more hot waitress crap -Kate

After I replied to everyone I heard a knock on my door.

"Daniel" I said when I saw Daniel at the door

"Kate, how was it?" He said as he leaned in for a hug

I pulled back, closed the door and smiled "It was terrible, how was staying home?"

"Oh I missed you Kate" he smiled and then showed me a bottle of wine that he hid behind his back "it was terrible? Oh do tell me why"

"I already know the guy" I took out 2 wine glasses and put them on the coffee table. "And not i a good way" i paused before I added "at all"

"That really sucks... but when is the wedding and am I invited" his expression changed "wait, does this mean that you have to move out"

"I hope not"

Daniel and I spoke for a few more hours, drank wine and laughed at stories

"So I should probably go" Daniel said after he looked at his watch

"Yeah"

Daniel looked at me with a weird expression on his face, looked at my lips and then walked closer to me. His lips connected with mine and before I knew it we were kissing. He is a really good kisser. It felt like the moment went on forever, he wrapped his arms around my waist and then suddenly dropped his arms and pulled back

"I'm sorry, I've just always wondered what it would feel like to kiss you" he said as he took a few steps back and grabbed his jacket that was on the table, I just stood there as he walked to the door "Kate"

"Yeah?" I said slowly

"It was amazing" he left the apartment but also left a smile on my face

I walked to my phone to find two texts
Luke Adams,Food fighter? -Lily

Too bad for all the other sibgle women in London, and also the married ones. Their Luke isn't available any more -Luke

I replied
Luke Adams... food fighter! -Kate

They are so relieved, they told me themselves -your future wife

I went to bed and got woken up the next morning by a phone call.
