Chapter 10

It was Wednesday after and nicki had decided to spend more time with drake. They were making their way to the park as they both just wanted to go for a walk of some kind. They found one wig a massive field and decided to take a walk around it hand in hand.

Nicki: this is cute

Drake: I know. All my moments with you are cute or ones to die for

Nicki smiled and blushed.

Nicki: you're so charming aubs

Drake: I've been told

Nicki: so are you gonna tell me a bit more about you and jade.

Drake: we what do you want to know.

Nicki: nothing much just about like what your connection was

Drake: well jade and I had been friends for 2 years before she left. We had , had one relationship tryout but it didn't really work out even though we both had strong feelings for each other. After that we found that sticking as best friends was better for the both of us.

Nicki: oh , so why did she leave.

Drake: her dad got a new job in New York so they had to move

Nicki: aww so you were a bit like me and safaree but closer

Drake: you could say that

They decided to take a seat on the grass. Nicki sat in between drakes legs as he wrapped his arms around her.

Nicki: drake ...?

Drake: yea ?

Nicki: you know what you said on the phone the other day about me and you in the future with our happy family ?

Drake: yea

Nicki: would you really like for that happen on the future.

Drake: of course I would nic ! You're my world and I wanna be with you for the rest of my life.

He lead down and kissed her cheek and smiled showing her dimples. She took his hand in hers and interlocked their fingers before looking up at him.

Nicki: and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you breybear

He smiled at her then leaned down and kissed her.

Drake: I love you

Nicki: I love you too baby

2 hours later ....

The sun was setting and nicki and drake were still in the park. They were now sitting on the swings holding hands. They sat in a comfortable silence as they swung. Nicki always felt much safer when she was around drake. She felt like he was there to protect and to love her. Drake stood up and took her with him. He put his arms around her waist as he towered over her. Her curious eyes looking up at him as he kissed he softly. When they pulled away he just held he in his arms as they stood. He played with her hair as she snuggled into his chest. Not long after they decided to start heading back to drakes.

When they got back they ordered a pizza for dinner. They sat in drakes room as they ate and watched a movie.

Drake: so which one would you like to watch

Nicki: urm how about mission impossible ghost protocol

Drake: sounds good to me.

He put the movie in before taking a slice of pizza and sitting close to nicki. Half way through the movie nicki had her head on drakes lap as he dropped his arm on her waist. They were still completely focused on the film even though they were so close and cuddly.

After it finished drake had to now take nicki home. They drove to hers with a bit of small talk just to make conversation. They were now outside her house saying their goodbyes.

Drake: okay baby ill see you tomorrow yeah?

Nicki: yea , be safe

Drake: I will

They leaned in and shared a kiss.

Nicki: I love you brey

She whispered against his lips and he returned it.

Drake: I love you too Nika.

He watched her as she walked out the car and into her home.

Drake: man , I love that girl!

When nicki got in she went straight to her room. After sorting her hair into a messy bun and , brushing her teeth and changing into her pyjamas , she decided to try and get some sleep , but that failed so instead she texted drake.
