I stepped down from the stage and Dumbledore announced it was time for karaoke. It was actually a contest, and the best person won.
Now, there were lots of great singers, but one person really stuck out to me more than anyone else.
"Give me that mic!" yelled Ron Weasley over the crowd. He grabbed the microphone and stomped up on stage. "Hit it, Hagrid!" he yelled.
Flowy, upbeat music started playing. The audience began to clap in-sync with each other, like they sometimes do at my concerts. Ron opened his mouth and began singing:
"I come home in the morning light
My mother says how many souls did you get tonight?
Oh mother dear I filled up my jar of souls
And gingers just wanna have fun.

The phone never rings for me.
I have no friends because I don't have a soul.
Hogwarts is the only place I call home.

Ron recieved a standing ovation for his song, and he won the karaoke contest. I noticed that he was wearing the same pair of pants that I got him the night we accidentally met in the corridors of Hogwarts.
