So as the season of festivals is about a month away, I might as well share what happened last year about a month after what I wrote about last. So yeah, Season of Festivals everybody *sarcastic* yaaaaaay...*cries* SO ANYWHO for those who live under a rock like Silver,  I'll briefly explain the reason for the season. Long ago and blah de-blah, Fya was just a desert home to hundreds of nomadic tribes from a single tribe that split up for reason, read a history book er somethin'. The Tribe celebrated many festivals in one particular part of the year cuz traditions and blah and ways of our ancestors and blah. Blah blah blah, tribes reunited and stuff and they each had different ways of celebrating festivals and they did it on different days so the "government" (quotations cuz all they do is keep track of the trade and reinforce the currency amounts) just made it a three month long season for tribes to enjoy together. First month is the wind festivals celebrating the Immortal Being of Wind, second month is the water festivals celebrating the Immortal Being of Water, and the third month is the fire festivals celebrating the Immortal Being of Fire. Pretty simple. If your from Fya, you'll have heard the slang for the season 'Alli-Cori-Dia' (Ally-kory-dee-uh) meaning 'Wind-Water-Fire' in ancient Coren. Explanation over, back to last year's Alli-Cori-Dia, well I guess it was the month of Alli.

So I was chilling in the streets, stealing stuff, like I always am that time of year (so easy with all the tribes visiting their home cities) and you know how I do things by now, I go out trying to make my living as a thief and either someone's trying to kill me or something supernatural happens. Usually the former and sometimes the latter. Anyway, I had left Silvy and Jade at the Shina's Alli parade (the Shina tribe has always made exceptionally amazing obsidian and iron works as well as vibrant fabrics perfect for parades) I, not being too interested in the flashy colors, sword swallowers, and snake charmers, went elsewhere to look at the obsidian weapons in the street shops. (Obsidian is a beloved crafting material by the people of Fya and the rest of Nionoz, hence why so many things are made with it) That day I looted three refined obsidian scimitars, and fifteen shining gold-laced obsidian knives. "They can cut through throats just as well as they can cut through crowds!" the seller proclaimed. "Fine fruits for the offering this month!" another one yelled to collect customers. I'd forgotten about the offering at the end of Alli, but it would probably be best if I offered something from my own tribe, Lacer, whose festival days were not for another week. Of course, Silver and Jade had no idea that I would be preforming in the Lacer parts of the holiday. In all the years before that one they had gone back to their homelands for my- no, our week. Little did they know that our week was the best. Lacer has a fighting competitions, cooking contests with free food, forging contests, practically everything. The most famous, however, is our dances which I was a part of that year. Most years I do the fighting competitions but that was my once in a lifetime exception. And I HATED it.
