He Can't Sleep Without You

AN: thought I would make a quick imagine before bed. I have to run the mile run first period tomorrow, so I'm savoring my time here. :) xoxo

Your pov:

You've been dealing with a lot of stress from work. Your boss recently piled on a bunch of papers, and you have to do them. Plus you're hoping for a promotion.

I'm quietly sitting at the desk facing the window, across from the bed where I thought Michael was sleeping.

"Y/n." Michael whines, "please come to bed, I can't sleep." He says, rolling around in bed.

"Am I keeping you awake with my work that needs to be finished?" I say, with a bit of sass, annoyed that he doesn't understand how hard I have to work.

"Trust me, Michael, I would love to sleep but my boss needs these papers by tomorrow morning." I say, rubbing my face.

"Please," Michael says, holding out his arms.

"I'll lay with you, but when you fall asleep, I have to continue working." I say, getting up from non stop work.

"Then I'll never sleep." Michael says, giving me a big cheesy smile.

All I can do is roll my eyes, as I crawl into bed, as Michael wraps his arms around me.

"Oh no." I whisper

"What's the problem, baby?" Michael asks.

"It's just... I don't want to get up again. This is so comfortable." I confess, burying my face into his arms.

"Cmon, can't you just do it another day and explain to your boss-" Michael tries to explain.

"It doesn't work that way." I quickly snap at him.

"I'm sorry." I say, as I get up and quickly put on my pajamas.

"It's okay baby, I get you're stressed. I just can't sleep without you." He says, rolling over trying to get comfy in bed again.

"You know what? Fuck papers." I say, "you matter more, baby."

"Come here, baby." Michael says, wrapping his arms around me.

"I love you so much y/n, " he confesses, placing little kisses over your neck.

"I love you too, Michael." I say, giggling at his kisses.

Soon we both fall asleep peacefully, until the morning when I see all the incompleted business papers. It was worth it because Michael will always be more important.
