Chapter Twenty Three

Everyone at once started talking at once making it harder to remember my dream.

I held my head, it was important. I know it's important. I dug my nails into my palms.

"Does your head hurt?" Noah asks.

I tried concentrating squeezing my eyes shut.

"Charlie go get the nurse her head hurts." Emily said.

There was black hair...

"Nurse, got it." He left.

Like Repunzel?

"Yes because it's not like a drug did this to her in the first place." Joey said humorless.

It was so long and she told me...

"We can't just let her sit there in pain!" Emily yelled.

"God damnit just let me think for one minute!" I yelled making it so quiet you could hear the bustling of doctors and nurses out in the hallway. No one even breathed as I sqrewed my eyes shut. I got flashes.

It was of a girl with such long hair and a warm personality. I could hear her voice and see snip-its of my dream.

Let me show you something.

I am not important.

You can't run away from a curse.

Are they still telling that half baked story?

You can wake up anytime.

Consider my debt repayed.

I remembered what I saw in Noah's head. I looked at him he looked like he's been through hell and in all honesty he has.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I am now." I said honestly and grabbed the front of his shirt and pressed my lips to his. He was stiff for only a moment before he started kissing me back and running his fingers through my hair. Our kiss was perfect, we were no longer fighting for dominance, we were finally in balance with each other.

Noah finally pulled back just far enough so we could breathe. "You scared me so damn bad."

"I know I'm sorry everything just kept getting jumbled." I said exasperated.

"I was scared you would reject me and then you got captured and then you got put in the coma. And it felt like my best wasn't good enough." He said and the emotion broke his voice.

My heart squeezed. "I know. But I'm back now." I smiled.

"Don't leave me again." He said tears falling down his cheeks.

I wiped them away. "Never again. You're stuck with me." I laughed.

"Good." He said and kissed my lips softly.

"Finally!!!" Emily yelled.

"I thought you two love birds never going to get together and I had money on this. Charlie owes me 50 bucks." Joey chuckled.

My face grew red as I realized they heard all that. I let my hair hide my face.

Noah quickly moved it away though, tucking it behind my ear.

He smiled his beautiful smile. "I love you."

"I love you more." I said for the first time out loud.

His eyes filled with suprise and then joy. "I know, I was just worried you didn't."

"Cocky bastard." I mumbled.
