Within an hour of putting the sea water into the bath, Chai was looking a whole lot better. His temperate was back to normal and he was no longer as pale as a ghost, he was sleepy though from being sick this morning so I was sat in the bathroom watching him just to make sure he was going to be alright. Shelby was also sitting with me and smirking at me
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked raising an eyebrow
"Nothing" She smirked and poked her tongue out at me
"Ok what are you thinking about?" I sighed knowing it was probably something stupid
"You like him" She said pointing to Chai making my eyes widen
"Me?! Like a fish? Pft... ha what makes you think that?" I replied sheepishly avoiding eye contact, I heard her scoff and I looked up at her
"You know you can't lie to me right?" She asked and I rolled my eyes, I am terrible at lying
"I don't like him" I replied
"Sure you keep thinking that" She teased
"Do you think he'll be ok though?" I asked hopefully
"He seems fine, I'm sure he'll be fine" She replied with a smile
"Good, he really wants to go home" I said looking over at him, I had to admit he looked pretty cute when he slept
"I don't know, I think he wants to stay here with you" Shelby shrugged and I frowned
"Pft, I doubt it he's super home sick but... he did tell me something" I replied
"What?" She asked
"He's being forced to marry this girl that he hates" I replied
"Arranged marriage? That's so wrong" Shelby frowned
"I know I feel so bad for him" I sighed looking over at him, he was sleeping peacefully making me smile
"I have to admit he is completely gorgeous" I mumbled a small smile creeping onto my face
"I knew it!" Shelby shouted pointing at me
"Shhh! He's sleeping!" I spat not wanting Chai to wake up
"Sorry, you have a crush" Shelby teased me quietly
"Shut up..."I said blushing, I heard a noise and turned seeing Chai was moving and starting to wake up. He opened his eyes lazily and looked at me
"What time is it?" He asked rubbing his eyes
"Six in the afternoon, are you feeling ok?" I asked
"Yeah I guess... my head hurts a little" He shrugged sitting up rubbing his eyes
"It's six already? Shit I better get to work I'll see you two tomorrow" Shelby stood up walking out of the room leaving us
"Where does she work?" Chai asked
"She works at a local vet in town" I replied
"Ohh.... what where you talking about whilst I was asleep?" Chai asked
"Um.... stuff" I replied sheepishly
"What does crush mean?" Chai asked making me freeze, he was listening?
"Um... a crush means you like someone more then a friend" I replied and he nodded
"Shelby said you had a crush on me... do you?" Chai asked, I bit my lip and looked at his face to see his facial expression but it was neutral
"Y-Yeah... I do Chai" I replied I sat there looking at him hoping for him to say something
"O-Oh..." Chai said quietly staring at me
"Chai it's ok if you don't lie me I understand since we haven't known each other for long and I don't mind you saying that I'm being awkward or-
