I went in search for Brooke and Brittany. I couldn't find them anywhere. Damn it!!! You choose now to disappear?! I ran outside about ready to call a cab when Brandson Ashley rolled up in his big gas gusiling monster truck of an SUV and rolled down the window. "Hey little damsel. You in distress?" he asked, chuckling at his own joke and trying to flirt with me. Even though I hated this douche bag with every fiber of my being, I needed to go get really for the banquet. "Why yes, I am desperate enough to need your ride." I walked around his car and hoped into to the passenger seat, which took some effort considering it was as tall as a fucking skyscraper!!! He gave me an offended look. Not like I cared though. "Where to little lady?" he asked as he peeled out of the parking lot, nearly running over some kids and probably leaving tire marks where he stomped on the gas and did a U-turn in like 2 feet of space. I had to shout over the screeching of his tires as he turned. "JUST DROP ME OFF AT BLAKE'S HOUSE!!! I PROMISED HIS BROTHER I'D BE HIS DATE AT THIS BANQUET THING SO YOU BETTER HURRY THE FUCK UP!!!!!" we screeched into the intersection on a yellow light. I swear he was trying to kill both of us before we got to the house. "So you're going with the king of freaky goth manwhores to a party?" he asked me fiddling with the radio as he sped at least 20 miles over the speed limit. "You better watch out. Last time he went with a girl to a party he knocked her up." He told me with his moth turned down at the edges. Was he actually caring about me by warning me? Or was this another ruse to try and get in my pants? I rolled my eyes knowing which one it was, "Look Jake and I are just friends. And keep your eyes on the road." As we were driving a steady line of different horns followed us. I was surprised we haven't been pulled over. Just as we hit 75mph in a 45 zone he swerved into the other lane without realizing it. I pulled his wheel just in time to keep it within the yellow lines. Thank god our side of the road was clear. "Why the fuck are you driving like we're on a high speed chase? Are you trying to get us and other people killed?" he apologized and let up on the gas till he was at 50mph. Good enough.... It's not perfect but I'm okay with it. "My mom's a cop and this is her undercover car and my dad's a test driver for sports cars. It's like they wanted me to speed and not get caught." I stretched my legs out as we screeched into my neighborhood. As he was trying to find a good song on the radio he drove up onto the sidewalk. I saw a little girl about 7 or 8 ridding her scooter down about 60 feet down. I swerved us back onto the road as I heard her scream pierce the car. He shot up. "What was that?" he was lucky he was driving or else I would've hit him and shoved him out of the car. "That. Was the girl you almost killed because your music was more important then her life. God damn where did you get your drivers license? Come to think of it.... Do you even HAVE a drivers license?" He chuckled, "Who says I need one?" he pulled up at Blake's house and I was so happy to see ground that wasn't moving it almost moved me to tears. Almost. Though I did collapse on the ground in relief. "You are NEVER driving me ANYWHERE ever again!!!!!! I screamed at him as he pulled the door shut and sped off. After a few seconds I jumped up and dusted myself off. Ready for a banquet with Jake. Or as ready as I'll ever be going to something fancy with him
