Oh god. I am gonna miss him the most.

Seeing Beomgyu so happy, knowing very well about the storm that occupied the back of his mind, is what gave Yeonjun the greatest kind of happiness anyone could possibly give.

He didn't know if anyone, or anything, could replace that.

In the midst of his laughter, Beomgyu saw Yeonjun's solemn and sentimental gaze, and waded towards him.

"Hey..."

He grabbed Yeonjun's hand, making the older look at him.

"Why are you looking so glum?"

Yeonjun exhaled.

"It's just... Beomgyu... you are so special to me."

And here came the rambling.

"I don't even know how it's gonna be for me, for us, to do a long distance relationship. I don't know how it'll be, not being able to see you so often, only being able to contact you via text or calls... it's painful."

"Yeonjun—"

The older one pulled Beomgyu closer.

"Promise me this?" he asked.

"What?"

"That you will meet me again. Even if we're busy, have so much to do with our lives and our jobs, we will meet up, right?"

Beomgyu's eyes glistened, lips wobbling as he confessed his love for him too.

"Yeonjun... I was gonna ask you that too. I'll miss you so much too... I don't know how we will be able to do this."

"I know."

They faced each other even more, still holding their hands, as they gazed into each other's eyes with every good emotion in the world.

"I love you," Yeonjun said.

"And I love you even more."

Before Beomgyu knew it, Yeonjun pressed his lips onto his, kissing his most beloved in the world.

In the midst of the ocean waves.

In the midst of the sunset.

But it was just right.

Beomgyu pulled away when he heard something.

"Look."

And before he could say another thing, a family of dolphins, the same ones Beomgyu observed, somersaulted over them, chittering happily before splashing back down into the water.

Yeonjun was beyond amazed.

"A goodbye gift from them," Beomgyu smiled.

And it only widened when Yeonjun hugged him tightly.

"I'm beyond grateful to have met you."

The next day arrived quickly. The last day of eating Beomgyu's delicious breakfast and seeing the little house.

It was bittersweet double checking his bedroom, which had become home to him, that he left nothing behind.

But nothing beat the feeling Yeonjun felt when he spotted the helicopter from far away by the beach, and there was nothing he could do to prevent it from coming closer.

It's time.

Yeonjun didn't want to cry, but he felt the tears sting his eyes when Beomgyu placed his hand on his shoulder, giving him a weak smile.

"You might wanna head out soon."

"I know."

But before he took another step forward, Yeonjun spun around, pulled Beomgyu in and embraced him tightly.

The younger ravenette breathed in, smelling Yeonjun's scent as he hugged him back tightly, knowing this is the last time for a while.

For a while.

He had to focus on that.

"You have my number, right?" Yeonjun asked.

"For the twentieth time, yes."

"A twenty-first time doesn't hurt, right?"

"Never."

Yeonjun took his bags, and smiled at his boyfriend.

"See you Beomgyu."

He returned the smile.

"See you Yeonjun."

And so Yeonjun turned around, walking away from the house, but not before waving at his boyfriend with a sentimental but bright smile on his face.

Beomgyu couldn't help but do the same, waving back with a smile as the gentle wind blew through, ruffling his hair and his clothes.

This image was the last one Yeonjun captured on his film camera of him.

"Got everything?" the pilot asked.

"I do."

Yeonjun placed the headphones over his head, fastening his seatbelt and shortly after, the helicopter whirred off into the air.

Leaving the island.

But Yeonjun was not leaving the memories, and most definitely, not leaving Beomgyu.

It'll just be a while until they meet again.

Shaky breaths resonated through the dark alley.

"Please... please don't kill me!"

A pair of ruby red eyes stared into the human's frightened soul. The human scrambled back, hitting the brick wall behind them.

There was nowhere to escape.

"Please—"

CHOMP!

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
