It was finally Monday.

Yeonjun dragged his two fully packed camping bags into his black van, dressed in cargo pants, a tan shirt, and his red backpack on his back.

And a full smile was planted on his face.

There were no words to describe just how excited Yeonjun was to go on this expedition.

24 days, just him on his own, and being able to explore and discover without any bothersome people eating at his ear.

What more could he want?

"Nothing," Yeonjun grinned, slamming the trunk door shut.

Yeonjun drove to the airport by car, and took this as an opportunity to jam out to his favorite songs for the final time before it's gonna be near impossible to listen to them.

He was aware of the likelihood that he won't have WiFi at home, let alone electricity in the worst case scenario.

So, he strongly believe it'd be smarter to not use his electronic devices for non-scientific reasons, downloaded music included.

Did he mind?

No; Yeonjun was way too excited for the experience.

After driving for half an hour, Yeonjun parked his car in an assigned parking spot, and gave the key to the people who will watch over it for the next three and a half weeks.

Miss Lee was waiting for the scientist on the main ground with a pilot. They were standing next to a huge yellow helicopter, the emblem of the company moulded into it.

"Hello Mr Choi," the CEO greeted her employee cheerfully.

"Hellooo!!"

"You have everything, I assume?"

"Yep. Clothes, flashlights, food stock, first aid kit, wristwatch, compass, sunscreen, toiletries, batteries—"

"Okay okay. You have everything."

Miss Lee handed him a map.

"This should help guide you through the island. Stay safe; this may only be 24 days, but you don't know what could happen there."

Yeonjun laughed.

You all are so paranoid.

"Thank you ma'am for looking out for me."

Excitement bubbled in him as Yeonjun took his luggage, and boarded the helicopter with the pilot, tossing the bags into the trunk in the back.

Then, he strapped himself into his seat, waiting for the pilot to get in.

Once he boarded, he shut the door, sealing the two inside, and sat down in his pilot seat, handing Yeonjun a set of headphones to protect his ears from the noise.

"Are you ready?" the pilot asked.

Yeonjun eagerly nodded.

"Of course!!"

"Then get ready for takeoff, Mr Choi."

"Alright!!"

Yeonjun cheerfully waved at his CEO as the pilot turned the engine on, and the helicopter took off. Miss Lee was waving the whole time, a smile on her face.

And just like that, Yeonjun was off.

The trip to the island took about two hours. In the meantime, Yeonjun could see all of Seoul from up here.
