The sound of a FaceTime call rang through the room, and Yeonjun could barely keep his giddy excitement in, especially when it was answered.

["Yeonjun?!?!"]

"Hey!!!" he squealed.

Taehyun stared at him with an agape mouth, looking like a fish as he was unable to believe his eyes.

["How can you contact me?!"]

"With my laptop of course."

["But how?! Since when does an island far away from here have WiFi?"]

Yeonjun chuckled, bemused.

"Oh I need to catch you up."

["I'm all ears. Or earbuds,"[ Taehyun remarked, tapping his headphones.

He giggled.

"So when I arrived here, I thought I was alone. Oh, by the way, this island is absolutely amazing! It is so peaceful, and so beautiful; I know that you would have loved it here."

["Really?"]

"Mhm! And it seems pretty historical too, because I found some cave paintings that seem pretty old in my opinion."

["That's kinda strange, because this island was discovered just about a month ago."]

Yeonjun shrugged.

"Yeah, maybe, but it's really fascinating! And this house is also really well built; it has nice rooms, electricity through solar power, and it has incredible views of the island and ocean wherever you go!"

Taehyun nodded.

["And? What else?"]

"Well, the trees are mostly tropical, and they include literally every fruit type in the world! So at least I know I won't starve here."

["You're avoiding the topic,"] Taehyun sing-sang.

The ravenette frowned.

"What topic?"

["Well Hyung, you did say there won't be any WiFi, and yet you're calling per FaceTime, which requires WiFi,"] Taehyun explained.

"Ohhhh."

Yeonjun nearly forgot about that after all his rambling.

"Well, turns out I'm not alone on this island," he announced.

["You aren't?"]

"Nope, another guy came here before me, he's an oceanographer and archaeologist."

["Oh."]

Taehyun was glad his headphones were in, otherwise someone would've definitely heard that and say—

["I bet someone wants to start competition with HYBE."]

"Hyun, worklife is full of competition."

["You get what I mean."]

Yeonjun chuckled.

Of course I do.

["So, how is your roomie scientist?"] Taehyun asked, dubbing him just like that.

"Well... it was a little hard at first to get to know him, because he was rather secretive and had trust issues. But we're getting along better since yesterday, and today, he let me use his WiFi to call you!"

That was what happened yesterday. As an apology for being so rude in the beginning, Beomgyu let Yeonjun use his WiFi, who was more than happy to be able to.
