🎶: "Honeymoon" by Lana Del Rey
There was no time for Yeonjun to collect his breath after doing that intense workout routine.
He slowly rose back up to his feet, and stared in bewilderment and awe at what he saw in front of his eyes.
The top of the mountain... didn't look like one.
In the roundish curve of the peak, there was an opening, and a pool of darkness was past the opening.
"A cave?"
Most people would be terrified to go inside a cave, not knowing what to expect once you're inside of it.
Yeonjun knew that he promised Taehyun to be careful and not do anything crazy, but his curiosity became too big.
So he just decided to just forget about everything (including the fact that Beomgyu was still by the rock climbing) and just entered the cave.
Darkness engulfed him as he stepped inside. The only light shining through was coming from the opening of the cave, and Yeonjun thought he wouldn't be able to see anything.
Yet, the light coming from the outside was still enough for him to see part of something on the cave wall.
A section of a cave painting.
"Huh... I wonder what that could be."
But I'll need more light in order to see what.
Yeonjun reached into his gym shorts, and groaned in disbelief when he realized he didn't have his phone on him, because he didn't take it.
Could definitely use that flashlight feature.
All that was in his pocket was an old dry rag that probably once served as a towel, but now had no...
Wait a damn minute.
He wildly looked around, and to his luck, one can always count on random shrub anywhere.
Yeonjun quickly grabbed a thick stick, tied the old rag around it, and took ahold of two small rocks.
Please work please work please work.
He struck the stones against each other, rubbing their coarse sides until...
"Yes!!!"
Sparks flew, and landed onto the old rag, igniting a small flame that quickly spread around it.
Yeonjun dropped his impromptu fire equipment and picked up the handmade torch instead, grinning while patting himself on the back for his craftsmanship.
Sure, it wasn't the best, and will probably die out soon, but whatever.
What really mattered was this moment, and that he could see what this cave has on its walls.
Yeonjun pointed the torch at the wall, and was stunned at what he saw.
There was... a whole museum of art painted on the walls.
They were colors he rarely saw, because most pieces of art in museum have bright rainbow colors, or matte tones on rare occasions.
These paintings however were in colors of brown, black, and red.
And not that Yeonjun ever paid much attention to them, but he remembered the times his art teacher would blatantly make fun of his classmates for their stickmen sketches.
She definitely would get a kick out of all these stickmen-like drawings.
Yeonjun meanwhile found what he saw on the walls the definition of a masterpiece.
