"He a scientist from Seoul... and probably the kindest person I've met in real life."

["It's a guy?!?!"] Soobin exclaimed.

"Yeah—"

["AHHHH!!!"]

Soobin kicked his feet in the air and grabbed his pillow, before jumping around the room like a five-year-old.

["CAN I SHIP YOU TWO?!?!"]

"EW!" Beomgyu yelled.

["Your ears are giving you away,"] Kai sing-sang.

"What?!"

["Your ears are red Beomgyu."]

Beomgyu touched them.

Fuck.

Not only were they probably red, they were burning up; Beomgyu never felt his ears this warm before.

["You know we won't judge if your sexual orientation is towards guys,"] Soobin said.

"Really?"

["Hun, I literally do makeup knowing very well that men get bullied for it and I've made out with guys before!"]

"I do not need to know every single detail of your personal life sometimes," Beomgyu sighed through clenched teeth, holding his forehead in his knuckles.

["Sorry not sorry."]

["What's the name of the scientist who came here?"] Kai asked.

"His full name is Choi Yeonjun. He's about a year older than Soobin, and extremely gorgeous and intelligent too."

["You're only giving yourself away."]

["Be who you are!"] Soobin exclaimed, applying some mascara.

Beomgyu was this close to crawling into the screen, throw Soobin onto planet Mars, and make sure no one could help him escape.

["Shut up Soobin."] 

"Never."

["Beomgyu, if you're afraid it's gonna be like how it was in the past, don't. People aren't always the same, are they?" Kai chimed in.

"I know but... what if he doesn't feel the same way?"

["Never hurts to make sure before you confess, right?"]

["Just continue showing your true self to him, the one you show to us every time we call, and maybe he'll fall for you,"] Soobin added.

Beomgyu was deep in thought afterwards.

In case no one's picked up on it yet, Kai and Soobin know most of the deets about Beomgyu and his past.

It was one of the first things he told them after gaining some trust in them, and good that he did— they didn't judge him for it at all, and showed lots of empathy.

For Beomgyu however, it was more special when he shared it with Yeonjun.

Why, he didn't exactly understand.

But for everyone else, it was actually rather obvious: it was simply because Beomgyu had fallen in love with Yeonjun within just a few days.

Some may think this sounds unrealistic, but sometimes it just happens.

You can't control love, whether you want to or not— people can fall in love at first sight, it's just that the outcome depends on the person you fall for.

"He knows everything," Beomgyu began.

Kai and Soobin paid attention. 

"He was always so kind to him, even though I didn't tell him much about me at first, and was plain rude. I yelled at him, got angry over the littlest things, and was just... a horrible person to him. But I did all of this because... I was trying so hard to push him away, thinking he'd be just like everyone else, but he isn't. He's the complete opposite of that. Even though he had the right not to, he forgave me for my awful behavior and chose to help me. Yeonjun has helped me see everything from a different perspective, wanting me to see life in a better light and not think that everyone is my enemy. It's like I need him to live, otherwise I'll spiral back."
