And all Beomgyu really knows is that Yeonjun is a scientist, very bubbly, and most definitely tries his best to be nice no matter what.

But other than that?

They knew nothing.

Heck, they had no idea who even was older!

"I think we should get to know each other better," Beomgyu said, his tone sheepish.

Yeonjun couldn't deny that he found the pink flush spreading across his cheeks, down his neck and even his chest (to be fair, Beomgyu's shirt was a bit low cut) cute.

"I agree. Come to think of it... we barely know anything about each other."

"Minus our exquisitely weird and messed up pasts."

He sighed.

"Yeah... our friendship started weird."

"Mhm..."

Friendship. That word seemed so foreign yet so comforting to Beomgyu.

"So... who wants to start?" Yeonjun asked.

"You should. I wanna know more about you."

"Okay."

And then Yeonjun was blank.

"Uh... where do I start?" he chuckled, embarrassed.

"How about your full name? I... kinda don't remember it, if I have to be honest."

"No worries."

Yeonjun cleared his throat.

"My full name is Choi Yeonjun. I'm a scientist at HYBE Studies of Law and Nature, one of Seoul's most well known science companies. It is well known for its studies and for having some pretty prestigious scientists."

"I think I've heard of your company before," Beomgyu remarked.

"You probably have. Your company is called W.O.W Corporations, right?"

"Mhm."

"What does W.O.W stand for?" Yeonjun asked, curious.

"Wonders of the World. My company is very flexible with what we study and do our research on, and also what we discover. It goes from archeology to astronomy to oceanography, and everything in between. We do a lot of work together on developing new ways for climate change and battling greenhouse emissions too."

"Wow... sounds pretty cool."

Beomgyu nodded.

"It is."

"Your surname is Choi as well, right?"

"Mhm."

"How old are you?" Yeonjun then asked.

"I turned 22 earlier this year, and you?"

Yeonjun gasped in delight.

"I'm older— I'm turning 24!"

"Wow... 24."

"Yeah, I don't know how to feel about that," he laughed.

"When's your birthday?"

"September 13th, yours?"

"Huh... mine's on March 13th."

Yeonjun's eyes piqued in amazement.

"Oh, so exactly six months apart. Well... you know what I mean."

"... I do."

Beomgyu chewed on his chicken before asking the next question.
