"Phew, wasn't that bad."

Beomgyu perched a brow.

"Really?"

"Yeah; it was rather fun if you ask me."

"That obstacle usually leaves people who don't do this often into suffering a heart attack from not getting enough air."

Yeonjun scoffed and crossed his arms.

"You really think I don't do any exercise?"

Beomgyu pressed his lips into a thin line and turned around, staring at the monkey bars before him, instead of at Yeonjun's ridiculously handsome face.

What, he may dislike him but he can admit Yeonjun's good looking, right?

"Whatever. Just do what you want to."

Again, Beomgyu leapt, but this time, his hands grabbed onto the monkey bars that were positioned above him.

He started swinging herself forward, one by one, paying close attention to where he was going, and to not touch any places covered with vines or moss, knowing they were extremely dangerous.

Yeonjun also noticed the spots and bars that had vintage on them, so he remembered to stay aware and be careful to not slip.

He didn't leap like Beomgyu, not wanting to take the risk of breaking his neck just for showing off.

Instead, he held onto the first set of monkey bars tightly and started moving on his own, not looking down, and staying careful.

After all, he didn't want to suddenly get a panic attack 10 meters up in the air.

Unbeknownst to him, Beomgyu was watching him occasionally, whenever he was looking back to see how Yeonjun was doing.

He was surprised.

Yeonjun was doing so much better with this vigorous training than he'd ever expected. It was extremely evident in his careful movements, how his eyes scanned every bar for any moss, and the way he kept herself stable the whole time.

He definitely was trained to be a scientist who needs to do these kinds of things.

Beomgyu shook his head to remove the thoughts invading his mind, and finally landed onto the next platform, followed by Yeonjun.

"So, was it really that hard?" Yeonjun asked.

"I never said it was."

"Yeah you did."

"Ugh..."

Yeonjun didn't want to mingle any further, knowing he was going to prove Beomgyu's anger issues even further if he continued.

Well, too bad for himself on the other hand— Yeonjun was already quite frustrated with how Beomgyu was acting with him, once again.

He really wondered if Beomgyu had a problem with his personality, or if he really just can't stand people.

Well, I won't change myself just because of him and his problems.

"What's next?" Yeonjun asked.

Beomgyu pointed at the rock climbing set attached to the actual mountains looming in front of them like a jagged crown.

"Rock climbing."

"Oh okay."

However, there was one major problem. One that kind of worried Yeonjun for his, and also Beomgyu's safety.

"How will we get there safely? We don't have any security straps or equipment to ensure our safety," he said.

"We just jump."

"WHAT?"

Beomgyu covered his ears.

"Sheesh, why are you so loud?!"

"Sorry, but what?! We'll die like this!" Yeonjun protested.

"Nah... I've done this a bunch of times already. It's never killed me before."

He's got to be kidding me, right?

Beomgyu shrugged his shoulders.

"If you're too scared, you can skip."

Yeonjun scoffed.

"Sure. As if I will give in as a chicken to you!"

"Very well."

The two scientists braced their legs, and as if they were one person, they ran towards the edge of the platform, and jumped.

Yeonjun nearly screamed when he felt his feet travel over the empty air, and yelped the moment when his hands crashed against the mountain rock, grabbing the small colorful rocks as soon as he could.

His knee had been scraped a little bit, but he didn't care about the minor pain, or if it bled.

Beomgyu was already beginning to climb up, and Yeonjun, not wanting him to win this game, started climbing after him.

Very quickly even.

Yeonjun was really speeding up the mountain wall, and soon, Beomgyu was left behind, struggling to match his pace.

"YAH YEONJUN! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Beomgyu shouted.

"UP!"

"YOU'RE PAST THE LIMIT, GET BACK HERE!"

Yeonjun hadn't even noticed that he was already so high up. There was about a row of climbing stones left, and then, only the ledge of the mountains.

He wildly looked around, and suddenly spotted a vine.

The worst that could happen is a broken neck.

Yeonjun reached out and grabbed the vine, slipping off the climbing stones, and hanging for dear life on the scrawny yet sturdy vine.

With a beating heart, he firmly held onto the vine and started to ascend up the mountain, making sure his feet landed on open spaces between the rocks to not slip, until he finally reached the climax....

... only to discover that there was another ledge past the rock climbing set.
