Last thing he wanted was to be the reason the man, despite how chatty he annoyingly was, gets mauled to death by a wild animal.

Not that he's run into any but whatever.

Yeonjun nearly jumped from joy and hugged him, but he kept himself from doing that, getting the message that this man did not like physical contact.

Or any contact at all.

"Great!"

He followed the man, skipping along, still carrying the heavy bags. The man stared at him up and down.

"You're carrying all that?" he asked.

"Yeah! Any problem with that?"

"No... isn't that heavy though?"

"Nah, not really. I do many arm workouts and weight lifting, so this kind of exercise is completely normal!"

Yeonjun rambled on and on about what he likes to do at the gym and all that, and the man was getting irritated.

He just wanted to head back to his shelter and get back to his studies, instead of dealing with this chirpy chatterbox.

"Oh, by the way, I didn't catch your name!" Yeonjun exclaimed.

The man paused in his steps, and turned around to face Yeonjun.

"Choi Beomgyu," he said.

Yeonjun nodded, and smiled.

"Beomgyu... what a pretty name!"

And he followed Beomgyu like an excited child, irritating the man even further.

Beomgyu walked in a straight line as they continued venturing through the island.

Yeonjun was looking around even more, trying to remember the way from the beach to here so he wouldn't have to take the map everywhere he goes.

And besides, he loved looking at the scenery, and hearing the ocean waves from far away; they were that loud.

Suddenly, Beomgyu stopped walking.

And because Yeonjun wasn't paying attention, he stumbled and bumped into him.

"WOAH!" they yelled at once.

Thank God that Beomgyu had good balance, otherwise they would have crashed to the ground, and maybe gotten bitten by a spider.

Once they collected themselves, Beomgyu cleared his throat.

"We're here," he said.

Yeonjun glanced up and his eyes widened at the sight in front of him.

"Wow. What a luxury on an island."

It was a little modern white house, yet it still was a good size. From the outside, it seemed like it had a few rooms upstairs, judging from the many windows.

It also had a front porch, which looked out towards the western side of the island, probably to watch the sunsets.

"You can go to the room next to the bathroom upstairs. It's available," Beomgyu explained, taking his briefcase inside.

"Okay!"

Beomgyu opened the door and immediately headed upstairs, leaving Yeonjun alone.

The scientist walked inside the house with his full camping bags, and looked around the room.

The living area was rather nice, he must admit.

There was a TV connected to a solar panel right on the roof (he saw that already from the outside), there were some couches made of wicker branches and pillows, and a coffee table made out of wood in the center.
