In which he gets struck by lighting. And you're just a lil upset. Can be read as live action or animated cuz I used character traits (physical and mental) from both although it technically takes place during riders of Berk. Lowkey one of my favorite Snotlout centered episodes 😭

It had been a normal day. It always starts that way. Waking up, getting your dragon breakfast, off to the great hall for your own breakfast, bother Snotlout, leaning on him for warmth in the gentle chill of the morning. He didn't mind. He loved it. Yes, it was a very normal morning on Berk. Until Hiccup brought back a giant ice block.

"So what's with the ice block?" You asked as you walked into the arena, followed by your dragon, another monstrous nightmare.

She was colored almost like a sunset, with dark reds, yellows, and oranges swirled around. Her name was Velita, a word you had heard from some travelers who told you it means little candle.

"Well that's what we're trying to find out! The berserkers wanted this but we... need to figure out what dragon is inside the ice," Hiccup explained as you stepped closer to investigate.

While that happened, Hookfang bucked Snotlout off his back, making his way over to your dragon to play with her. Both dragons growl playfully at each other and you smile as Snotlout groans in pain from being dropped onto the rock floor.

"Looks like our dragons like each other... y'know... it's a good thing..." Snotlout says, a cocky smirk on his face despite the fact he's still on the floor.

You nod, smiling as the two dragons blow flames at each other. Hiccup tells Fishlegs to give it a slow burn. Meatlug shoots a lava blast at it, making it melt a little.

You try to step forward, but are knocked over by both Hookfang and Velita, shoving their heads at you. You laugh, snorting as you give them both scratches.

"Hey that's not fair when I do that-"

A burst of flame is sent towards his voice.

"Hookfang!"

Suddenly you're pulled up, and sigh. It was Snotlout holding you up, using you as a shield.

"Anyway... what dragon is it?" You ask, tilting your attention to the others in the group, and the water puddle under the ice.

"I-it's a skrill!" Fishlegs stammered. You were put back on your feet as you walked over, examining the ice block.

"That's so cool!" You giggled, walking around the whole thing, examining every detail you could have the elusive creature. "I heard that they're gifted their lightning by Thor himself!"

Fishlegs, Hiccup, and Astrid all left to go tell Stoick, while you stayed with Snotlout and the Twins. They assumed you would act as a baby sitter while they were gone. You in fact, would not do that. A warning, sure, but they were not your job nor responsibility.

"He said don't touch it," you scolded as the twins brought their dragon closer.

"It's not touching... just... experimenting."

You sighed and climbed onto Velita's saddle, giving her a quick scratch, before Hookfang shoved his face into hers, wanting scratches as well, ever the attention hog, much like his handler.

"Hookfang... get him," you whispered, patting his nose, pointing at Snotlout.

The dragon happily went over, picking him up and throwing Snotlout onto him. The boy screamed but clung onto his dragon, before he was forcibly taken back over to you.
