You had been dating the brash, loud Viking for just over six months.

And he would NEVER shut up about it. So when he visited you after you came back from an island, alone mind you, he was ecstatic that you gave him a ring. He already had a few, but he wore the one you gave him with the utmost pride.

You hummed as you made your way to the great hall for breakfast. It was early morning, but you knew that he would be there already.

And he was.

And so was the most evil girl that had come onto the island in the past few months. Did she kill someone? No. She incessantly flirted with your boyfriend. He never ever flirted back, but it still made you upset.

She was sitting next to him, way too close, touching his forearm, staring up at him. He looked so uncomfortable, and awkward, it would've made you laugh if it wasn't for the fact that she was making him uncomfortable. You were about to step in when all of a sudden he stands up.

"Would you quit it?!"

She looked up, shocked.

"Whatever do you mean...?" She cooed.

"Stop flirting with me! See this?" He shouted, showing her the ring. "My girlfriend gave it to me! I'm taken! Which I've made you aware of multiple times! Take the damn hint!"

You were... shocked to say the least. Your boyfriend just said that like you staked your claim on him. You giggled and walked over, kissing his cheek.

He jumped and turned to face you, "B-babe! I wasn't- I mean I-i didn't do anything!"

You laughed and shook your head, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Love... calm down. I know. I'm proud of you," you smile, before turning your attention to the girl. "And you..."

She squeaked and backed up as you got in her space with a glare.

"Don't you ever, and I mean ever flirt with my man ever again or it'll be the last thing you ever do. And if you ever so much as look at him and make him uncomfortable I will cut each of your appendages off one by one-"

She nodded frantically, "I-I'm sorry I'm sorry- I-i won't do it again-"

And ran off.

"O-oh okay... okay that was hot," you heard Snotlout mumble.

You turned around and laughed as you looked up, before hugging him.

"You always defend me... why wouldn't I do the same for you?" You mumbled, pressing your cheek into his chest.

"I... I didn't flirt back. I promise I didn't I-" he stammered, holding you tightly.

"Hey, I know. I trust you," you whisper, looking up.

He smiled. Genuinely smiled, and squeezed you tight. He squeezed you like you were going to disappear if he let you go.

"I love you... a lot... more than anything. Like... really..." he mumbled, laying his head onto yours, breathing in the scent of your shampoo.

"I love you too baby..."
