I watched my phone lit up because of the notifications coming from a certain application and my friends' messages.

Instead of opening them, I smirked as I watched my phone move slightly because of the vibration.

"That might be your friends." my gaze went to Atlas when he spoke.

I grinned at him and continued drying my hair with a towel because I just finished taking a shower.

"I don't want to open my phone." I said jokingly, which made him smile as he watched me.

He then stood up from the bed and took the towel from my hand.

"I still can't believe that you posted our picture together. It's a big thing for me, baby." he said gently and started drying my hair.

My heart swelled because of what he said and I watched him as he smiled genuinely like everything's making him so happy.

"I never expected for you to post me on your social media accounts. All I wanted was a relationship with you, to be with you, and to love you." he paused for a second and sighed. "I was willing to be your little secret.. as long as I have you.. but you did more than I wished for. And seeing our picture on your account means so much to me."

As I listened to him and as I looked at his dilating eyes, it hit me-what feels small or ordinary to me carries so much weight for him. The little things I do, they aren't little to him, they are everything.

"Why would you think that I would keep you a secret?" I asked seriously because it hurt me. Knowing that he thought that way hurt me.

Instead of answering, he only smiled at me and planted a kiss on the tip of my nose before going back to drying my hair.

I want him to answer my question but I don't want to squeeze the words out of him, so instead, I hugged his waist and watched him as he still dried my hair.

"Huwag na kaya akong pumunta?" I whispered and grinned at him.

He stopped with what he was doing and looked down at me.

"I told you, if you don't want to go then you don't need to, but, baby, it's your victory party. You should go and enjoy with your teammates."

I scoffed and buried my face on his naked chest.

"Tinatamad ako." I said, my voice was muffled.

"You feel lazy or you just don't want to leave me here?"

I moved and stood straight when I heard the playfulness in his his voice. He chuckled and hugged me when he saw the frown on my face.

"Ano ngayon kung ayaw kitang iwan dito? Pakialam mo, Cuevas?" I said and was about to bite his chest but he laughed and held my jaw.

His chest vibrated against mine when he laughed even more because I tried to bite his hand instead. I couldn't help but laugh with him.

"You'll leave a mark on me again." he said and hugged me even tighter.

My laughs subsided and they were replaced by faint chuckles.

"Kapag ikaw ang nag-iiwan ng marka sa akin, hindi ako nagrereklamo." I said and rolled my eyes at him.

"Because you like it." he said huskily, which made me chuckle.

We stayed that way for a few moments. And I actually decided not to attend the party but my friends kept on calling me.

"Tangina mo. Ano 'yung story mo?" bungad ni Aiden sa akin nang sagutin ko ang kanyang pang-sampung tawag.

I laughed and held Atlas' hand tightly as we strided our way to the parking lot of his condo. He is going to drive me to the village where our coach's house is residing.
