Bored and a little bit tipsy, I watched my friends as they entertained people, especially women at our table.

This is one thing about being sociable: you'll get disturbed while having fun with your friends at public places because people flock at you like they are a group of seagulls looking for their food to eat.

"We have a common friend by the way. You know Evan, right?" I nodded my head at the woman, who sat beside me to talk about a...common friend...

"Yeah. He was a high school classmate." I bit my lower lip when she suddenly looked giddy after hearing words from me.

She had been talking to me since they went here but I only responded by nodding or shaking my head.

"Really?! That means we were schoolmates?" I shrugged my shoulder and gave her a small smile before looking at my friends who were busy talking to people. And I think Elijah noticed my gaze because he mouthed 'what?'

I stood up and stretched my limbs.

"Let's play beer pong muna!" Aiden suggested but I shook my head.

"Can you still drive?" Nathan asked worriedly.

"Yup. I gave each one of them a fist bump, but Ram stood up.

"I'll leave too. Maaga pa ako bukas." I stood there and waited for Ram to finish talking to someone when I remembered the woman talking to me earlier.

I tilted my head to look at her and gave her a smile again to not appear rude. I felt like it would be rude if I just leave without acknowledging her presence. And I also felt bad that I kind of ignored her unintentionally.

I know what she wanted and I'm not in the mood.

"Let's go."

Ram and I left together that night, leaving the others except for Red and Kiel, who didn't go with us.

The reason why we went to a bar is because a teammate invited us to his birthday party, and it was held at the bar where we were that night.

Our coach made us stand up while he was walking back and forth in front of us. He looks so serious but I stopped myself from letting out a laugh because I couldn't take him seriously.

I said, defending myself.

"Hinuhuli lang kita. Kalma, Cuizon. I bit the side of my cheek, preventing myself from speaking.

I'm afraid I'll add more fuel if I speak more.

"Ran fifty laps around the court. Aguilar ikaw na ang bahala." he said, which earned complaints from us.
