I presented a report earlier, something that Aiden was talking about. He thought I did well, but I just did what I was supposed to do—present it properly and comprehensively.
"Yeah. That's because you studied it thoroughly." I nodded my head, even though what he said wasn't clear to me and went to Atlas' profile and refreshed it. I've been waiting for him to post something but he never did.
Parang ghost town ang kanyang account. Walang post o kahit na ano. There's only one picture, and he only has one friend, which is me.
I was never interested in scrolling through this application. I only open it when I need to or when my friends tagged me in something.
I am just curious how he is going to use this account. Is he going to share memes like I do? Or is he going to post his thoughts?
May dadaanan lang ako." they were about to protest but I tapped their shoulders before turning around.
I roamed my gaze around when I entered the place. The silence was deafening when I entered. Of course, it's a library.
I was walking slowly until I spotted him at the corner, reading and minding his own business. I scratched my head when I realized that I went here without thinking about it.
Anong gagawin ko rito?
I'm kind of pissed with the fact that I've been doing things recklessly since I met this man.
I was about to turn around to leave when his head moved and his gaze is now on me. I almost cursed myself when I panicked and faced the shelf next to me, pretending to scan the books placed on it. I took one and opened it, making it seem like I was interested.
Jokes on me. He is very aware that I am not interested in books.
I sighed when I saw him walking towards me in my peripheral vision.
"You're suddenly interested in reading law books?" my eyebrows furrowed and closed the page to see the cover.
It was indeed a law book.
'Understanding Women's Rights and the Laws' basa ko sa isip.
Oh. This sounds interesting.
I held it tightly and faced Atlas, who is now standing beside me, and acted cool. I looked at him arrogantly as I showed the book to him.
"Not really, but I think this one's a good read." I smirked before passing by him and sat on the chair opposite to his.
"Why are you suddenly here? You said you don't like reading." he said the moment he sat in front of me.
I didn't mind him and opened the book I got. The book got my attention and I also can't answer him because I can't tell him why I'm here.
